Shiba KOSO Honten — Restaurant in Tokyo

I tried their Seasonal Course menu, just for experience of trying different Japanese flavours. It costs more than 15000¥ and you are asked to have one drink on top!

In my opinion this is highly overpriced! Their beef indeed was delicious but everything else was very basic, including things like pickled veg, rice, pickled veggies, miso soup. My desert was a small piece of cheese cake and small bites of melon and watermelon with instant coffee.

Staff was very friendly and accomodating. I guess it's not their fault that they charge so much for such a poor experience.

This is one of the best restaurant we did in a long time. The whole experience, from the moment we entered until we left, was perfect. Chef Kano skills are incredible, he successfully brings out all the flavours and subtility of the ingredients, while maintaining a balanced dish. It is a work of art. Tonight I experienced quite simply one of the best meals of my life so far - the exquisite wagyu tasting menu for 20,000 yen per person.
