MARUKOU HOTEL — Hotel in Tokyo

Had a pleasantly wonderful stay at this hotel for my first Tokyo trip! Located conveniently near Suehirocho station and Akiba, and also surrounded by multiple decent food choices, all in a peaceful neighbourhood situated away from the busy streets.

Room was rather small to my comfort (and hence not for people who want spacious resting spaces), and there is a coin laundry in the basement level, making it very convenient to return to my room and go back down when the laundry was done. Facilities were all clean and in tip-top condition.

In overall, my stay at this hotel was a surprisingly wonderful one, and I'd say that this is a perfect choice for travellers who plan to visit Akihabara and don't mind small...

Excellent service and great accommodation. We stayed in early February, the hotel itself was a short walk from Akihabara station. Staff was friendly and accommodating, though the language barrier can sometimes be difficult. Has its own laundry and dryer- rooms are a little on the small side but has all the essentials. We stayed at Marukou with a 1.5 year old. We were able to request a cot in advance. The space can be tight with all our luggage and a cot but the accommodation was clean, quiet, high quality amenities (Dyson hair dryer, Tsubaki shampoo), and has coin laundry.
