We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and found it to be basic but comfortable. The location is excellent - tucked away just off the main street, close to several train stations, convenience stores, restaurants and within walking distance of popular attractions. ||The reception staff were friendly and spoke English very well, which made check-in and communication smooth. The room itself was small but clean, with a very comfortable bed and excellent shower pressure. For Tokyo at this price point, the size felt reasonable. ||There are a few downsides though. The hotel has only one lift, which can mean waiting at busy times when guests and cleaning staff are also using it. The corridors are extremely hot and unfortunately the air conditioning in our room was not very effective. Even set to the lowest temperate (16’C), the room remained uncomfortably warm during the July heat, which made sleeping difficult. ||Housekeeping only came once during our 5-night stay, though trash bags left outside the room were collected promptly. We didn’t use the laundry facilities but there was an air dryer available in the room. The small kitchen area was useful too. ||Overall, this hotel offers a convenient base with friendly service and a great location at a budget cost. If the air conditioning were improved, it would be an excellent choice. As it stands, we’d still recommend it for those prioritising...
Read moreExceptional experience! We travelled as a family with a 6mo baby and stayed for two weeks. Pablo the receptionist speaks fluent English! Manager and the team is extremely understanding and flexible with our emergency situation during our stay. Communication via whatsapp is easy with timely response. Rest assured that you’ll be well taken care of if needed. Rooms- very new and clean, comparably spacious rooms in Japan (we are able to fit babys graco playpen in the double twin bedroom). Free room cleaning service and towel changing service for long stay. Coin Laundry is available with free laundry pods. And no, you wont hear the baby cry outside the room once the door is shut. Perfect Location- within the popular asakusa district. Short walk to Kaminarimon Gate, Asakusa Rox (with baby supplies), 24/7 Donki (you can pretty much find anything), multiple cost-friendly groceries, drug store and popular restaurants. I can go on and on… and will...
Read moreThis is an adorable, quaint, but super clean and cute hotel. There are 3 rooms per floor, I think 8 floors total. Everything is compact, but thoughtfully built so that no space is wasted. The luggage nook, the bathroom, the open closet with a multi-hanger for drying clothing, are all appreciated spaces that keep clutter out of the way. Great water pressure, nice toiletries, soft towels, nice bedding. The pillows are also nice, two per bed (2 twins). The mini kitchen cabinets that opens up is genius. It folds down and functions as a regular cabinet, table, but when opened there is a sink, a hot plate, and prep area. A microwave and mini fridge are located in the cabinets below, along with dishes and cooking equipment. ||I’d definitely recommend staying here. Maybe not so comfortable for very tall or big people, but we’re 5’5” and 5’9”, thin/average build, and it feels...
