TGI FRIDAYS MM21 Cross Gate — Restaurant in Yokohama

I reviewed TGI Friday's in March and gave a one star as the dining staff did not address people waiting outside despite a restaurant that wasn't busy. I went again last night to give it a try anyway. It is one of the nicer TGI's you will find. The inside is nicely set up and you have a nice view of the water. Staff was friendly and kind. We had the nachos which were really good and also the buffalo chicken tacos which were amazing!!!! The last dish however is the reason why this restaurant gets 3 stars. We got the full rack of ribs for 3000¥ and they were the absolute worst restaurant ribs I have ever had. The sauce on them was chunky and gross, and the meat though tender, was very bland. They give BBQ sauce, but it shouldn't be the only flavor you taste while eating ribs. Also, they gave a PATHETIC amount of fries. They need to fix how they prepare their ribs, because these are just awful. Everything else was good, just avoid the ribs. I cannot exaggerate how...

Staff is very friendly and understands English well. Excellent view of Minato Mirai / Sakuragicho. If you're tired of eating Japanese and are in the mood for American, it's a good choice for you. Food isn't cheap, but reasonably priced by Japanese standards for western style food with portions that your probably used to back home. I can't give 5 stars is because they have changed the happy hour time (4pm to 6pm - it used to be until 7pm) and happy hour prices (30% off - it used to be 50% off). Everyone loves a good old trip to TGI Fridays and this one was no different. This one is pretty cool with the tables largely overlooking the water and Yokohama wheel. We visited just in time for sunset and got to see everything go from light to dark and enjoy the flashing wheel and gondolas into the early evening.

Food was good - ordered the guacamole burger which was abit messy but very tasty and lots of complimenting flavours (gherkins, tomatoes and guacamole) definitely would have it again!
