I have been to two other Baird’s beer locations and this one has the best food. This was maybe my 5th time here and feel it is time for my comments. The BBQ brisket is surprisingly good and on the level of what you would expect in Texas. Actually brisket is better than many places I have been to in the US. Highly recommend you do try it even if you are not a beer drinker. The beer is consistent to what you will find at all the other locations. I am a fan of the pale ale. Malty, hoppy and the perfect amount of alcohol that enjoying more than 2 you can still keep your wits about. The staff is very friendly and like most Baird’s locations you will find English speakers (native speakers) and all menus are bilingual and easy to follow. If there is one complaint the Bashamichi tap room is a little cramped on the two floors. Granted the taproom is small and does try to make it cozy, the bar itself is massive taking up a lot of space. Small complaint and by no means a deal breaker, just be aware if you are coming with a crew that it is a little tight. I will continue to go there and recommend Baird’s. As I said before Bashamichi is the spot but make sure you try the other location and whatever foods they are...
Read moreReference Price: The sampler set with 3 types of beer for ¥1,000.
Service: English menu available. Friendly staff without being too overbearing.
Drink: Large selection of taps made by Baird Beer brewery.
Food: They have different food choices depending on the branch. Bashamichi Taproom mainly offers authentic American foods such as BBQ. I ordered the 3 meat combo plate and it was tasty, but it was a small portion for me, personally.
Space/Atmosphere: The appearance of the pub fits right into the character of Bashamichi area. The room itself creates a warm and cozy ambiance with wood and brick interior that give it nice Texas vibes. There are 2 floors and a roof-top, so there are plenty of seats, but it's best to sit downstairs if you're just drinking.
I rated this place 4 stars because the portion of the food is small compared to the price. Overall...

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Baird’s Bashamichi Taproom. The 3 Meat Plate was a carnivore’s dream—tender, juicy, and perfectly smoked brisket, pork, and chicken. Pairing that with flavorful mac & cheese, crispy Cajun fries, and buttery garlic bread made it an unforgettable meal.
The beer selection is top-tier. Whether you’re into smooth IPAs, rich stouts, or seasonal ales with a Japanese twist, there’s something for every palate.
What really stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and fully bilingual in English and Japanese, making it a comfortable and welcoming experience for both locals and tourists alike.
