Very nice small hotel. Not too many large groups as on the one we visited at Unzen-Shi. We had a short walk down a windy path to our separate unit which had a nice room, small patio and its own outside spa. Pretty idyllic!||The staff were very pleasant. We were assigned a Korean guy who could speak English and Japanese. He showed us the room and served us at table in the restaurant. I think he was the only English speaker. Great food, again better than our previous Ryokan. ||The train trip from Nagasaki was terrific. It is on the Rail Pass and best to get in a green seat (first class) although second is also very good. About this place i'm very impressed since arrived to departed. Friendly Staff that can speak english. Beautiful room with a great view. Two family onsen. Delicious kaiseki course and japanese style Breakfast.
