recently had the pleasure of dining at this lovely Uzbek restaurant, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the traditional authenticity that radiated through the stylish interior. The attention to detail in the decor transported me straight to Uzbekistan, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The menu, though not as extensive as some other Uzbek restaurants I’ve visited, offered a delightful selection of dishes. Each bite was a testament to the rich flavors and culinary expertise that Uzbek cuisine is known for. The food was absolutely delicious and left me craving for more.
What truly set this experience apart was the outstanding service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure every aspect of my meal was perfect. Their genuine hospitality added a special touch to the overall dining experience.
While I did wish for a few more options on the menu, this minor detail was easily overshadowed by the overall excellence of the restaurant. Additionally, I noticed there were no traditional Uzbek drinks available apart from the deliciously served Uzbek tea. It would have been nice to see a wider variety of traditional beverages to complement the fantastic food.

Read moreI had a very good time hosting dinner at Uzbegims for my family. When we arrived table was ready, the only thing I didn't like that restaurant was empty but they seated us so close to other big group and we didn't felt so much of privacy. Also, table wasn't served with things that I asked to be prepared, however they brought it very fast. What I like about Uzbegims that food is very authentic and taste very good. We took mostly lamb lula kabobs with grilled vegetables, home made bread, pickled and snack plates, home made lavash with cheese, rice pilaf with lamb and also wine and berry compote. Everybody enjoyed food so much, specially lamb kabobs were delicious and juicy. The prices on their website was higher than in menu and I told them to update that because check was little bit higher than I expected. Also silverware was very beautiful and festive, I loved the tea ceremony pot with matching plates for the dessert. They also were very nice to accommodate my few requests regarding the dessert and wine. No kompānijas tiek pieņemts pasūtījums. Arī no manis. Tiek pierakstīts. Pēc pailga gaidīšanas laika sāk parādīties daži dzērieni un pirmie ēdieni. Pasūtot kebabu lavašā tiek lūgts tur nelikt tomātus, jo bērnam negaršo tomāti. Speciāli krieviski/angliski tika lūgts ēdiens, lai tajā neliek tomātus. Tiek pārprasīts vai tomātu mērci var, jā mērci var. Tomātus nē. Rezultāts? Svaigi sagriezti tomāti tur ir. Tas nebija ēdiens, kur nevarēja tomātus nelikt. Bet tie tur bija. Sieva pasūtīja foreli. Speciāli apjautājās viesmīlim krieviski/angliski, vai tur piedevas ir. Jā esot. Rīsi. Zivs tiek atnesta. Apjautājamies, kur tad rīsi. Neesot. Mūsu kompāniju jau sāka viss mazliet uzjautrināt. Rīsi būšot. Drošības pēc apjautājos, kur mans dzēriens, jo dažiem jau izdzerts, man nav pat atnests. Pēc nākamā krietnā brīža rīsi tiek atnesti, kā beigās izrādījās, par papildus 4 eiro, lai gan solīts bija piedevās pie ēdiena. Tad kāpēc papildus samaksa? Tiek atnests arī mans dzēriens. Nu un noslēgumā grande finale. Es kopā ar visiem pasūtīju dzērienu, lagmanu un nu jau pat vairs neatceros kādu karsto uzkodu (kas kā starteris būtu jānes pirmais). Nav un nav. Visi jau paēduši, es joprojām gaidu savu pasūtījumu. Atnāk viesmīlis apjautāties, vai visi apmierināti. Saku, ka ne pārāk, jo es joprojām gaidu savu pasūtījumu. Uz ko sekoja jautājums "piedodiet, ko jūs pasūtījāt". Saku, lai paskatās lapiņā, jo skaidri redzēju, ka pasūtījums tika pierakstīts. Seko secinājums "piedodiet!" Es saprotu, kļūdīties var jebkurš. Nebija laika arī gaidīt vairs, jo sešiem cilvēkiem pasūtījums aizņēma pusotru stundu. Tas ņemot vērā faktu, ka restorānā bez mums bija tikai vēl divi apmeklētāji. Gaidīt vēl divus ēdienus, piedevām apzinoties, ka jau ar iepriekšejiem pasūtījumiem pārāk daudz kas bija nepareizi- visu labu. Bija jāpaspēj uz teātri. Aizgāju uz Lido ātri iekost. Neiesim tur, un nevienam arī neiesaku. Dīvains iestādījums ar ne pārāk kvalitatīvu apkalpošanu. Kārtības labad jāpiebilst, ka forele bija garšīga un vista ar papriku arī bija laba.
