Ok, so far is the most Italian restaurant in Riga! 🇮🇹 It is not only about the food (as it is mill of pizza experience and expectations, and we are not in Naples, you know) or furnishing, it is all about the feelings, I completely forgot where I am, and I felt like on vacation in Italy! This place is so full during evening, thus table booking would be an option to get there for sure. The place is owned by Italian family and I think is well managed to get the atmosphere! There is great selection of wines and spirits, from now on no need to travel to try something rare for our origin, like Malvasia. Also service is great, waited for us to decide on food and drinks (sometimes is a problem when you have a wide selection:), changed the table from terrace to indoor premises even having almost all tables taken at that time, even brought a power bank for my phone, and in the end (guess what?) we had a lemoncello as a complement from the house! 🙌 My conclusion is for those all Italian lovers, if you miss that happiness being in Riga, come to that place and enjoy! Love, love love! ❤️

Visited in Jan 2019 after swing quite a few positive reviews. First disappointment was right at the door when the attendant said straight away "I don't speak Russian". Normally my reaction would be to turn around and walk away, however because we agreed with friends to meet there I decided to stay, and it was a disappointment.... 2 soups we ordered were quite plain taste, the bruschetta was ordinary. Calzone was ok, but the service..... It took 15 minutes initially to get waiter attention and get a menu, 10 more minutes to get a drink, pizza was brought in before the soup, and the green tea we ordered...well its on the picture. Waitress did not hear about us asking for the bill when we declined dessert and another 15 minutes to get more waiters attention. Once we left the card, 10 more minutes of 0 attention, and only when we were finally were ready to walk out, we finally got some response from the staff, who took our card somewhere away from us to bring in the terminal with the card in it... Medieval age of customer service....

Casa Nostra truly captures the essence of authentic Italian cuisine! The food is nothing short of amazing, prepared by Italian professionals who masterfully craft their traditional recipes. While the steak was enjoyable, it pales in comparison to the outstanding flavors of their pizza, vitello tonato, and parmigiana eggplant. The dessert experience was equally delightful, with a velvety panna cotta that left us craving more. As a pleasant surprise, the house generously treated us to a limoncello shot, adding a touch of Italian zest to our meal. Casa Nostra is an absolute culinary gem, and every bite transports you to Italy. The dedication to preserving genuine flavors is evident in every dish they serve. Without a doubt, this dining experience is well worth it for anyone seeking an authentic taste of Italy and a delightful culinary journey

Good food and friendly personnel, but, as the restaurant is quite busy - a table never stays empty for long - service was not extremely fast. This might not be a problem when you're out to dine, but is less practical when out with young children that need to be fed. All the same, personnel will be happy to answer your questions and help you in whatever way they can. The restaurant is cosy and clean with a familial feel, and comprises various connected rooms that each have a distinct feel to them. Though I have had better spaghetti carbonara and more savoury pizza bases than that of the margherita I tried, the food is by no means bad and others in our group we very excited about their dishes. Together with the warm Christmas atmosphere in the restaurant, I can certainly recommend Case Nostra.

So I will start with the service. We were told that they may have a table for the two of us but it’s reserved after 6pm. It was 3:30pm!!! The restaurant was half empty in the back. We had to wait for the menus. An adjacent table that was seated after us, had drinks and complimentary bread brought out to them ahead of us. When I brought this up to our server, she told me she was busy. What kind of response is that?! Now to the food, I ordered seafood spaghetti with sun dried tomatoes. Let’s start with the seafood: small and obviously previously frozen. Sundries tomatoes were substituted by sautéed cheery tomatoes. In summary, it okay but a bit blend. I would struggle to call it authentic Italian food.

This is a little hidden gem from Italy in Riga. It could be anywhere up from Rome - the menu is just classic. Everything is cooked as nonna would and service is fast and friendly. And today (Thursday evening) they had a full house. I kept my fingers crossed when they opened aboit 7 years ago that they could make it to stay with us. I used to be regular and came here every time I was in Riga (about every second week for 2 years). Now I'm back after few years of COVID and I was so happy to see they are doing great.
