Unprofessionalism and a Ruined Birthday: How Steaks Restaurant Disappointed Us.
Visiting this restaurant for my birthday turned into an experience I would rather forget. The level of service we encountered was far below expectations for an establishment of this kind. The issues began with the reservation and culminated in a series of frustrating events during our visit. Here’s the full story.
Reservation and the "Mistake" I reserved a table for six people in a specific area of the restaurant well in advance. The reservation was confirmed, and I was explicitly told the table I wanted was available. However, just one day before the event, I received a call informing me of a "mistake"—the table had apparently been booked for someone else.
Upon arriving at the restaurant, it became clear what had happened. The table I initially reserved had been set up for a group of 12. It seems the restaurant found it more profitable to move us to a less desirable location in order to accommodate a larger party.
As compensation for the inconvenience, I was promised complimentary wine and desserts, which I reluctantly accepted as a gesture of goodwill. Unfortunately, the situation only went downhill from there.
Service and Chaos The real trouble began during service. Our order was taken in a disorganized manner: one waiter took part of the order, another came later to handle the rest, and the first waiter returned to confirm the details. Despite the obvious number of guests at the table, the restaurant managed to make a glaring mistake by bringing one extra steak.
What followed was a public debacle, with different waitstaff taking turns to interrogate us about the order in front of the entire restaurant. This was embarrassing and entirely unprofessional. Considering that every guest at the table had ordered a steak, this level of confusion was unacceptable.
The Bill and a Sense of Deception At the end of the meal, we discovered even more issues with the bill:
An extra bottle of water we didn’t order. The wine, which was supposed to be complimentary, was included in the total. A suspiciously high weight of the meat dishes, exceeding 2 kg in total. The weight discrepancy was especially concerning, as it seemed like an easy way to inflate the bill. Let’s be honest—nobody brings a scale to a restaurant to verify the weight of their food. This left us feeling taken advantage of.
The Final Straw As we were leaving, a waiter approached us—not to apologize, but to declare that the restaurant was refusing us service in the future due to our "negative attitude." This was the final insult. I had initially thought he was coming to make amends, but instead, his words added insult to injury. Of course, we had already decided never to return. They just lost their regular customer.
Final Thoughts If you plan to visit this restaurant, be extremely cautious. Pay close attention to your bill, especially if ordering dishes priced by weight. And if you're celebrating a special occasion, consider going elsewhere—this establishment might leave you disappointed, just...

Then at one point, they took away unfinished glass of wine, we needed to point that out to a waiter, they argued back that this didn't happen, but with an eye roll face efect brought a new glass of wine. Then, at 18:50, a waiter came over to tell us that we had 10 minutes left. Five minutes later, they returned to say that our time was up, and the next guests were waiting. We were frustrated by how we were being rushed. The waiter insisted that everyone is always informed that reservations are limited to two hours. I pointed out that we had arrived precisely on time, yet they sent us across the street to wait, offered us "complimentary" drinks that ended up on our bill, and now were rushing us out before we even finished. The response? "reservations are limited to two hours.." But let me remind you- we were on time! Those 25min would be perfect extra time to finish our evening..
