Alright, I believe most ppl came across this hotel because of the first night checkpoint, while waiting for the boat transfer to Mabul or Kapalai resort next morning. We arrive at this hotel at around 130pm. But we are only allowed to check-in after 3pm. Fortunately, you can drop your baggage at the hotel and go for lunch. The room is reasonably clean, but it can still be improved. The aircon is cold, and the water heater is functioning well. We got assigned to a room on the 6th floor which is the highest floor. The view is good and there isn't any noise disturbance from the main road(probably because we are at the high floor). The bed is comfy. So I don't have many complaints about the stay. As for the breakfast, this hotel doesn't have any cafe, so they will give you breakfast vouchers to eat at the nearby NanHai seafood restaurant. It is only about 100m walking distance. You can choose 1 main breakfast and a choice of drink. I picked curry noodles and my wife picked half boiled eggs with toast. I would say the breakfast is below average. The curry lacks curry flavour. Don't expect anything delicious to avoid disappointment. The coffee and tea are fine. Overall, I think it is still a good...

The room is large enough, the amenities basic, but useful and the bathroom is decently sized.||Breakfast (for us), was via coupons and we had a choice of three venues - the other Grace Hotel, the cafe next door and a smaller restaurant down the road. Each place offers its own specialities, such as the cafe at the other Grace hotel was more sandwiches while the next door cafe was more Malay food and the restaurant down the road catered to a bit more chinese cuisine. Good options as the town does get a fair amount of tourists from China.||The room does face the sea (higher floors are better obviously) but soundproofing is iffy at best so some street and other noises are...
Read moreUnfortunately, my stay at this hotel was quite disappointing. The room was not clean — the floor felt sticky, and the bedsheet had visible yellow and black stains, which was very unpleasant. The bed was too soft and offered little support. Soundproofing was also a major issue; the hotel faces the pier, and starting early in the morning, there was constant loud noise from staff moving goods — it was difficult to rest properly. The toilet corners were noticeably dirty, which further added to the uncomfortable experience. On the positive side, the location is convenient for finding food, and the staff were friendly and polite. However, considering the condition of the room and the lack of comfort, I honestly don’t think it’s worth the price.Dinner place at 肥妈 my favourite spot...
