Loads of trash is floating everywhere in the ocean, even around Sipadan. The locals lack environmental awareness. Read moreThis is the jetty usually used to go to the water chalets. Please confirm with your chalets which jetty to wait at, as the distance from the tourist jetty is quite far, and depending on traffic, is slow to travel with grab car.
there is a 7-11 nearby for you to do last minute shopping in case you need to get water and stuff.
sometimes there will be locals waiting at the jetty to "help" carry your bags out from the boat to the ground, or vice versa. but remember, nobody does anything for free so carry your items yourselves if you don't want to pay them. if you allowed them to hep, be considerate to tip them...
