North Borneo Paradise @ Marina Court Resort Condo — Hotel in Borneo

According to the manager, North Borneo Paradise manages some 20 apartments in Marina Condo which is situated right smack in downtown Kota Kinabalu (about 20 minutes from KK International Airport), almost sea facing if not for the shopping complex on the city's waterfront.||||With my usual party of six - grandma, grandpa, me and hubby plus the two teenagers - we rented a 3 bedroom self-catering apartment on the sixth floor of Block B2. Tho the condo plaza is quite open, security is tight with keycards for entrance into the building including carpark.||||The apartment is quite huge with one ensuite room with king-sized bed, one room with queen-sized bed sharing a common bathroom with the room with two single beds. Furniture is a bit dated, linen is clean. Towels and bathfoam are provided.||||For muslims, kiblat is marked clearly. There is individually controlled aircon throughout the apartment. There is wifi and HyppTV on television in the open living and dining area. In the kitchen, there is a working gas stove, electric kettle, microwave oven and fridge. Pots, pans, cups, dishes and cutleries too. There is a functioning washing machine in the yard.||||The condo is walking distance to the Filipino Craft market, KK's wet market, Gaya street (a longer walk), Jesselton Point for nearby islands, and right in front - hard rock cafe and fresh seafood at Anjung Senja. At the back, there is a row of shops for breakfast including McDonalds. Nearby are the newer shopping complexes.||||Should one wish to take trips requiring transport, there abundant taxis outside the gate. As well as travel/tour agents offering vans for out-of-town trips.||||There is an outdoor swimming pool within the condo, but we didn't try it as we were busy taking in the sights, sea...

1st of all would like to say thank you to Mei the owner of North Borneo Paradise @ Marina Court Condominium. ||We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment. There is parking available for guests in the basement. The apartments are right opposite Oceanus mall and close to a host of eateries. Apartments also have free WiFi and there is a swimming pool in the premises. Rooms are large. For those don't want to eat outside you can cook by yourself because in the premise have kitchen & all the amenities to cook. There are also a couple more malls at 10-15 minutes walk from the apartments. The premises also very near to Anjung Senja & others shopping place. We rented a 3 bedroom apartment which was spacious. Location is good and service is very good. We were here only for two nights and had really to use the washing machine in the apartment. Unfortonately the machine stopped mid programme being left with a lot of wet laundry and no possibility to solve this ourselves. No problem our 'personal manager' Mae took care of it and the next day our laundry was clean and dry. (They also tried to repare the machine, but that was not possible).
