PERFECT for family travel! My family and I stayed at Princess Junior(2 bedroom). Living hall equipped with television, big sofas which can fit 6-10 people to lepak at this area. and there's a dining table for 4. There's also small kitchen area in front of the double bed bedroom. We love the kitchen area, got almost everything we need ; microwave, refrigerator, sets of glass, sets of teacup, a decent pot for cooking, spoons and forks and of course, induction cooker! senang nak masak anything. Each bedroom has a bed, a wardrobe and a decent table&chair to put our things. 1 bathroom is just nice and well functioning during our stay. No issue at all. However, I believe there's some part of the suites that is a bit dusty(minor), probably the rag in the bedroom(seems old&has signs of had been used for long generation) cuz my mom and I caught sneezing and runny nose on the next morning after we slept the whole night in one of the bedroom. That is the only turndown of this hotel la. Luckily the living hall is wooden floor, no old rag. felt cleaner in the living hall.
Food access ; There's MCD next to the hotel, My News store, and some stall. but we went straight to KLCC for dinner at Serai. Food court also available at KLCC. on the morning, we ordered breakfast thru Grabfood. There are A LOT of food choices available on Grabfood at this area. Loved it.
Location wise ; to me; very strategic. easy access to everywhere, tourist spot, food, transport. only 10minute walking distance to KLCC Twin Tower. Easy access to taxi and grab. not so busy road hence safe for walking.
Overall Crown Regency is perfect for family travel. Not so good for instagrammable-holiday staycation spot since the whole hotel and room design is vintage and quite outdated. BUT!, highly recommend for those who wants a decent comfortable place to stay especially for family/group travel. Truly had a nice and pleasant experience during my entire stayđđ». Thank you...
Read moreItâs in a location where a couple of famous big pubs are located where lots of freelance Vietnamese girls visit. This usually means noise and undesirable elements. The laneway it actually sits on is not a clean alley and dark at night. Fortunately it sits at the corner where itâs well lit. I was on the ninth floor and hardly noticed the noise apart from infrequent hoons revving their cars in the wee hours. Access to my floor and room was by card only.|So why stay here? The reception lady that checked me in was very friendly and helpful. The room (Regency 1 bedroom Suite) was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was a bit small but had that new look to it. A separate bathtub and shower was a good option. Lots of TV channels if youâre bored and a pool (water was really cold as 70% under cover) and even a self laundry.|Food? Right next door was a fabulous and very airy restaurant that made lots of different food and I had a yummy lamb pie with gravy and mash. Almost right next door to that was an Irish bar with great prices and varied food options (I had a German sausage set). KLCC is only 5 minutes walk up the road and it has loads of food options plus heaps of shops. A couple of good Japanese restaurants across the road too.|Would I stay here again? Having stayed mainly in the Bukit Bintang area, I found this place not as busy or had that âbuzzâ about the surroundings. Hence, I would come back as I had a much quieter and cheaper room yet it cost me only 5 MYR by Grab car to get to the main Bukit B area. I could have walked there in 15 minutes but it was 35 blistering hot degrees at lunchtime. Donât forget I also got a 1 bedroom suite at a price that could only get me at best a 3 star hotel. I...
Read moreUtterly disappointed with the service at Front Desk.||I've arrived late into the evening and instead of a "Hello, good evening...can I help you", I was greeted by a Chinese male staff that was slouching in his seat, going all silent with a blank stare. And I had to be one saying "Hello, I would like to check in". ||||In addition to a nonchalant behaviour, all he said was "ok, you need to pay RM1000+" without bothering to explain detailed charges; or a receipt printed. Collected the money, and back to his slouch mode with no further communication on facilities, assisting in baggage and what not. A kind bellboy was the one who stepped forward to inform where is the pool and gym and its operating hours. Wait; did they just switch roles??? Simply said; I felt I was just going into a budget hostel which I'm sure has better service.||||The next day, I had a similar experience with a Malay lady staff. Walked up to front desk to inform that I am expecting a delivery; so my intention was to pre-ampt and ensure they can send the delivery man straight up to my room. But no...she was looking so lost and took up a walkie talkie thinking I am the delivery person. Excuse me, do you even understand a word I'm saying? I had to repeat myself and she still looks clueless even after I switched from speaking in English to Malay.||||I have stayed in your property thrice in recent years and this was not how I remembered my experiences. Service used to be top-notched but sadly now it's going south. Which is really sad....||||If you don't upkeep your standards of service, you will eventually lose loyal...
