Review: Terrible Experience - Avoid This Hotel!
I don’t even know where to start. My stay at this hotel was absolutely awful from the moment I arrived. First off, the place is infested with cockroaches. I saw them crawling on the walls, the floor, and even on the bed. It was disgusting and made me feel completely uncomfortable the entire time.
The room itself was filthy—dirty walls, stained floors, and the doors were stained . The hallways were no better, with juice stains scattered around and the elevator doors were so gross and sticky , I didn’t even want to touch them. The entire place reeks of a stinky odor that just won't go away. It's as if the hotel hasn't been cleaned in years.
To make matters worse, the bed sheets and blankets were clearly not washed. They were stained, smelled bad, and looked as if they'd been used by dozens of other guests without proper cleaning. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the bathroom was moldy and unpleasant, with the shower and sink covered in weird brown stians and mildew with weird sewage pee smell-.., they never refill the toilet paper..and theres like 0 room service..if they don't clean the hallways its clear they don't wash the sheets and the rooms either
parking lot was kinda confusing..it looks really old and weird along with the weird doors.., it makes no sense the entry is only in P8 , P10. its so unwelcoming..
we booked a reservation for 3:00PM but we went later than that since they weren't done "Cleaning" yeah...
the washing machine was working but there was no dryer..., it smelt like sewage near the bathrooms and the walls weren't properly sealed..which is why there was cockroaches-....
And the kitchen… if you can even call it that, was absolutely disgusting. It was filthy, with dirty countertops and old food remnants everywhere. It was clear that the management does not care about cleanliness or guest comfort.
do not trust the agents.., I find it shady that u have to meet outside the hotel to get ur card and ur keys-..they ask for 200 RM as a deposit but be careful they will not give it back..
booking.com is an absolute scam too..its filled with fake reviews! u should just check out the Google reviews since its legit-..don't get tricked by the beautiful photos either..its not like that at all unless ur lucky ofc-..I doubt it lol
I feel completely scammed. The hotel’s pictures online are misleading, and I would never recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and your sanity—do not book...
Read moreI had a terrible experience here. I stayed with my friends last week for a short vacation. Even before we arrived a day before our trip I felt uncomfortable about going there after my friends booked the room. I usually trust my instincts, but we had already planned everything so I went. Upon arrival the first red flag was the guy who asked us to wait for the room key. He was a foreigner and something seemed off about him. Second, he asked whether we had brought any luggage. Then he gave us the password for the room door and we paid 200 ringgit as a deposit. I already felt suspicious at that point.
Then everything seemed okay but after entering the room I felt something was really off and my heartbeat started racing. I couldn't even stay inside the room for a second. I asked my friends to hang out around Bukit Bintang and we went there without me telling them anything. After that I purposely spent time there because I felt something suspicious and didn't want to go back to the room. After many hours we returned and I felt okay. But the truly scary thing was my heart racing because of the room password. They could pass your password to a third party allowing them easy access to your room.
I kept thinking about it and couldn’t sleep peacefully. I only slept for a minute before suddenly waking up and asking my friend to hang out again around 5 a.m. We all went out and I opened up to them. I cried and explained that something felt suspicious and really not okay so I never went back to the room. My friend immediately called the agent to inform him that we were going to check out. We checked out on the spot at 6am in the middle of the road.
Afterwards, we went to the room packed everything and left. We asked for the deposit and he told my friend to come to the parking lot to collect it. I never let him go alone there. I asked the agent to come to the lobby to give us the deposit and then he came and gave it to us. We literally ran away from the terrible house. Please don't stay here. I had an absolutely terrible experience with Sky Suites KLCC by LUNA, and I want to warn others to stay away from this scam!
Hidden Charges & Misleading Information Nowhere in my Tiket.com booking did it mention an extra charge for late check-in. When I contacted Tiket.com customer service, they told me I had to pay 40 RM, which was already nonsense—but I paid. However, when I arrived, they forced me to pay 50 RM instead! When I asked why, the customer service rep was rude, refused to explain, and just said ‘call boss’ while blocking our access to the apartment. No receipt was given. Suspicious & Unprofessional Check-in Process The meet-up location was in a different building (Idaman Resort), which made no sense, especially at 4 AM. I had to wait in the dark before being told to walk to another building. Now I understand why—it’s because this place is NOT LEGAL for short stays. They were scared security would notice their activities. Check-out Nightmare & Shady Behavior I had to call three different numbers just to get my deposit back. The person I spoke to was clearly nervous, repeatedly asking if security took photos of my luggage. Clearly, they are scared of getting caught. Rude & Unprofessional Staff The hotline customer service was extremely rude. Instead of helping, they refused to explain why I was overcharged and acted like I should just give them money without question. On top of that, the staff was not even local and barely spoke English, making communication even worse. If you’re dealing with international guests, learn how to communicate properly! ⚠️ WARNING: Do NOT trust the reviews on travel agent platforms. Check Google reviews and you’ll see the real complaints from other victims.
🚨 I will be reporting this place to the building management for running an illegal operation.
And Tiket.com, you need to take responsibility for this misleading listing. Check your partners before promoting scams like this!
