Read moreHad a towering experience at KL Tower recently after a hiatus of more than 20 years when I vividly remembered the entrance fee those days was only RM 8 to reach up to the Sky Observation Deck! 🗼Thanks to MATTA Fair that it cost only RM 66 for All the entrances: Sky Deck, Sky Box 1 & 2 & the Observation Deck + a peek at the "Atmosphere 360° Restaurant"! Such a good deal using the voucher on the last day of its expiry, 30/6/23, whereby many foreigners also took the opportunity as well since it was Aidil Adha holiday.
I took a good evening stroll up instead of waiting for 15 min for the shuttle bus to arrive, walking passed the "Upside Down House" at the foothill whereby many tourists were seen taking pictures of the iconic tower.
Was informed by the receptionist that it'll be a 2hrs wait to visit the Sky box 1 & 2 which was the highlight of the tour since it was a holiday hence had no choice but to be patient. Standing at 421 m = 1403 ft, the KL Tower was completed in October 1996 with a Time Capsule embedded in it. A stunning view indeed from the top which overlooks the KL city skyline, Twin Towers, PNB 118 & TRX. As the sunsets, the view automatically changes to a thousand twinkling lights! Such a captivating skyline when I stood at the "ceiling to floor glass" Skybox after waiting for almost 2hrs. Was so excited but when it came to my turn, I almost chicken out looking down to the glass Skybox skyline. Definitely not for the faint heart! 🥵🗼
There were appointed photographers 📸 in each Skybox to take your pictures for a fee starting from RM175 for 3 photos, RM 200 for 4 & RM 350 for an album. Overall, the tour was worthwhile with the spectacular rainbow 🌈 lights flashing on the tower every 45mins. Advisable to go on a weekday which isn't a holiday so there's no queue to go...
