My stay at this hotel was a disaster. The room was in terrible condition: stains everywhere, a pervasive odor of sewage, and it was clear the cleaning standards are nonexistent. Housekeeping failed to address these issues during my stay. Avoid this place at all costs!" My recent hotel stay was a complete disaster, easily one of the worst experiences I've had. From the moment I entered the room, I was shocked by the filthy condition. The carpets were stained, the furniture looked worn out, and a strong, unpleasant odor filled the air. It seemed like the room hadn’t been properly cleaned in ages. The bathroom was even worse, with mold in the corners and a leaky faucet that dripped constantly. Housekeeping was practically nonexistent, as they ignored my requests to clean the room or provide fresh towels. The staff were unhelpful and even rude at times when I tried to address these concerns. Adding to the misery, the hotel was extremely noisy at night, making it impossible to get any rest. Between the terrible room condition, poor service, and lack of care, I couldn’t wait to check out. May2022. Motel name (DongFang Motel) is marked WRONGLY on Google Maps. Search by address instead (70 Jalan Rembia, Bukit Bintang). The GPS coordinates I recorded while standing at the main door of this motel is [N3.146377,E101.708600]. This motel is on the row facing away from Jalan Alor so there is no noise to cause disturbance, but yet it is just a short walk from Jalan Alor shopping street (less than 4 mins for me). It was cheap so I didn't expect much but to my surprise, the air-con was cold enough and the bathroom tap & shower water was strong enough. Water heater works well too. The toilet flush also works well. In my room there were 3 power outlets, placed at strategic places. One at the foot of the bed (eg. to use with laptop), and two at the head (eg. to charge phone while watching Youtube). The Wifi was not too bad either. Mostly the Wifi speed was OK but sometimes it may be slow (I guess when too many guests are accessing it). The bedsheet and pillow case were all very clean. Simple blanket and towels were provided. This is about 10 mins walk from Bukit Bintang MRT station. This motel is located back to Jalan Alor, near to Low Yat Plaza, Berjaya Times Square, etc. etc. I found the location so convenient....

Cheapest in KL area. Rooms were great, you get aircond and private bathroom. High speed Wifi throughout the hotel. Staff and person in charge is really helpful. But needs a lil upgrade such as water...
