Kingston Hotel 12 @ Jalan Raja Laut, KL (Formerly known as Club Dolphin Hotel) — Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

Very disappointing stay. I do not recommend this hotel. Air conditioner leaking: The first room I was given had a leaking air conditioner. One of the beds was constantly getting wet from the dripping water. Room change issues: After requesting a room change, the new room had a terrible smell in the bathroom, and the toilet barely flushed. I asked to change rooms again, but the front desk told me there were no available rooms. However, I checked on Booking.com and could still see available rooms. Poor housekeeping service: I asked multiple times for housekeeping, and each time they said “yes,” but no one ever came. Drinking water and toilet paper ran out in my room. When I asked at the front desk, I was told, “There are too many guests, we can’t clean every room,” and even said they “don’t know” if it would be possible the next day. Eventually, they brought water and toilet paper, but told me there were no clean towels left. I’ve never stayed at a hotel that ran out of basic supplies like towels. Does this mean only new guests get proper service? Loud noise at night: Every night, there were extremely loud motorcycle noises that made it very difficult to sleep.

The entire stay felt poorly managed and unprofessional. Bad maintenance, unreliable service, and no regard for guests’ comfort. If you care about basic cleanliness and restful sleep, I suggest...

Everything was good. The process to check in was smooth without any problem. The room and toilet was clean and spacious. In room, they provided us with towels, disposable foot slippers, iron board, iron, coffee, drinks, mugs, spoons, electric jug kettle, hairdryer, water heater, toothbrushes, mini shampoo, mini body and wash shower gel, disposable shower caps, hangers, open wardrobe shelf, and television. The air-conditioning was function. They also provided free parking at level 1 and 2. From parking, you can use the lift to go to ground floor (reception and lobby) or your room. It is very convenient especially to the elders. For TV channels such as Netflix, Prime or Disney, I can't watch it since it's need subscription. I think they didn't subscribe it for guest. But you can ask them for further information and help. The only option, you can watch youtube or iqiyi (limited free movies/dramas). Since I don't stay a whole day in room, so I don't watch TV so much. I hope the management can fix this better for future and other guests who might stay at the room for most of their time.
