Legasi kept our deposit of RM200 out of spite because we insisted on housekeeping which they had advertised.
We arrived on the evening so there is no one available for cleaning. The bedding was dusty with stains, curtains were also dusty, state of the towels looked questionable, toilets & floors weren't clean.
As advertised by Legasi that they provide housekeeping 1 time per week, we requested it the next day itself to start clean. The reception was uncontactable most of the time.
We insisted on cleaning as my younger brother is sensitive to dust, had rashes all over his body and had difficulty breathing.
They came down on the 3rd day to intimidate us with '2 gangsters' to stop asking for house keeping but since we threatened to involve police and lawyer, they backed off and sent staff to just change the bed sheets but did not do any cleaning/house keeping at all.
The Excuse to keep the deposit was that we left the tied up rubbish bins outside for collection despite being reminded not to. We were Not informed AT ALL. They had WhatsApp messaged someone else who was not even on the trip with us and only helped to make the online booking. They had also informed their management Whatsapp groups about the bins left outside. But no-one came to the unit to tell us that we could not do that. We were not informed where to bring the rubbish bags as there is no chute system either?
We Highlighted to the female manager that they could have informed us on the same number that we used to ask for house keeping but the female manager had an unapologetic, sadist disposition and outright gangster behaviour and did not want to take responsibility for miscommunication.
Legasi had sent 2 people down to the unit who barged into the unit (our female family members in the unit were not wearing their hijab when man in black clothes just came in) and tried to use intimidation. We were not afraid, so they quickly say 'no we house keeping' and asked them to show some respect for our privacy and when I and my family members stepped out, there were no housekeeping items with them. They were there empty handed and were just there to try to intimidate us so we would stop asking for house keeping. They also used words like 'babi'.
We immediately called the reception which was put on voicemail. I then sent a voicemail explaining what had happened. They returned my call within minutes but did not apologize (the female manager) and mentioned 'i will ask my staff' and but the phone down. This confirmed that this is what they had intended.
When the manager had refused to return our deposit, I spoke highlighted all the above but her last pathetic try was to tell us that the management is different and they had summoned them with Rm2000 and that we are only keeping our deposit of Rm200. I felt bad and went to the management block and asked regarding this and they were shocked to find out that they did not summon them for Rm2000. And said that they can let go of all this.
We were encouraged to post this review online. Hence, I am writing this.
It was indeed a filthy property managed by much worse people, especially the female manager at the reception office.
Our young kids had to watch all this filthy behaviors and they are able to recall what happened.
Hence, I do NOT RECOMMEND to stay at LEGASI at Kampung Baru.
Not suitable for anyone. Very...

I am a frequent traveller, especially to KL. Frequent meaning, I will come to KL on average at least once every 2 months. So, I have been to many hotels and apartments. This time round, I came to KL for a family engagement event. So, we had to do a lot of preparation in the apartment.
Firstly, checking in was pretty easy and straight forward. They require a compulsory RM200 deposit. There is a sign at the check-in counter stating "No Deposit, No Check-In"
Parking distance from the carpark to the apartment is quite a distance. So if you have elderlies or leg problem, I wouldn't recommend you to take this apartment.
The apartment is big and spacious, cleanliness was just okay..dusty here and there, opened the wardrobe, dusty, the room with the queen bed and futon was also dusty and aircon was leaking on the bed headboard. Couldn't sleep well and had to shift the bed bcoz the aircon was on top of the headboard and dripping onto the headboard. Leaking aircon and it was not cold at all despite adjusting the temp to the lowest temperature. Called and message for maintenance, NO REPLY AT ALL. Living room aircon was not working too. I texted and called, NO ANSWER & NO REPLY at all throughout my 3 nights stay there.
Upon checking out, u have to wait approximately 15-20mins for them to check your apartment and to get back your deposit refund. I couldn't be bothered to feedback to whoever was at the counter coz I was too pissed off to even mentioned about the aircon. You couldn't even be bothered to reply to any of my calls or text so what makes me think that telling them the issue upon checking out will make them do something right. However, when my husband came up to check on me coz I was taking quite sometime to check out, he did feedback to the lady at the counter and all she could say was, "oh, nobody replied? Sorry."
Anyway, for the price I'm paying at Legasi, I expected better. Definitely not coming back for a second time and definitely not...
Read morePlease take this as a positive criticism to improve the management. I stayed here with family for 3 days & 2 nights. The room is equipped with a washing machine but I couldn't use it at all as there is no water coming out. I was shocked to see the balcony sliding door has no lock and it's definitely child unfriendly. I brought along my nephew and nieces & one of my nieces is a toddler. It is very dangerous hence I made complaints to the staffs as if there's a chance to get a new room. Alas, the management team told me all hotel rooms are fully booked. I was provided with 2 pass cards & one of the pass cards which is used for the parking is bent hence whenever we go out from the building, it was quite hard to detect. The building is very high as there are 49 levels and the lifts are only 3 provided. During my staycation, one of lifts was under maintenance and waiting for the lifts was like forever. Besides, I was informed that the RM 200 deposit will be transferred back after 1-2 working days. I checked out on 31st January 2025 which is Friday. Logically, the deposit will not be transferred during weekend. So I waited the weekdays to come & the finance team only notified me that if there is no money transferring they will make an action. I waited patiently but still after 2 days nothing happens. So the next day at around 2.30pm I texted again. I was quite pissed off as I sent them my QR code. Later after that I got my deposit money. They did apologise for their lateness but still I wanted to highlight this issue for...
