This is the second worst hotel I’ve ever been to, second only to scarletz suites at KLCC. We booked the hotel for three nights, upon arriving, the service was immediately terrible. There was no one to help carry your bags inside, you couldn’t even check it at the counter, they only give you a room key (key not card) the lobby itself is absolutely dirty, with filth chairs and peeling furniture. The lady who handed us the key didn’t even talk to us, she was on the phone the entire time, didn’t even mention the safety deposit to us or let us know that someone will come up to our room to collect it a bit later either so that took us by surprise. The bathroom is COVERED in mould, in all corners and the floor tiles are yellowing and slippery from how dirty it was. The shower was also blocked, as it wouldn’t drain while you showered, so you had to stand there while the filth water covered your feet. We booked a room with a balcony and the balcony we got was about 1x1 metre and had two massive air conditioner units so there wasn’t even space to stand. Obviously upset by this considering the price that was paid we called up and asked if we can spend just the one night and cancel the rest of the days because the room was absolutely filthy with weird odours, mould and ants. We were told we could leave but wouldn’t be refunded for the rest of the days, which is so disappointing considering this was the most expensive hotel we stayed at during our time in Malaysia, almost 1000 myr so obviously you would expect a decent service and room for that price. A man came up and we were told we could change rooms if we weren’t satisfied with this one. He tried to enter the apartment when he came up to let us know this to which my husband was stern about not coming in. We accepted the change of rooms as it would’ve been hard to find a room in such short notice. We changed rooms and lo and behold it was somehow even worse than the first one, shower even mouldier than the first time, ants everywhere including on the dining table and climbing onto the bed, foul smells and the same ‘balcony’ we had in the first room. The only decent thing was atleast this time the shower wasn’t clogged, but the sink was so it was still upsetting. At this point there was nothing more we could’ve done so we accepted our faith. We figured we could at least get some washing done as there was a washer/dryer in the room and oh my god I have never had such a headache with a washing machine before. It took 3+ hours to wash the clothes, you couldn’t even adjust the time because it would show an error, so I had to wake up in the middle of the night to put it on dry mode thinking I would wake up the next morning and atleast have clean clothes to wear. The clothes did not dry, I wish I was exaggerating when I say that I put my clothes on a dry cycle 5 times and every single time it remained wet to the point where I just gave up and had to go to a laundromat to get them cleaned. Let’s also not forget that the only towels provided were 2 bath towels, and no place to hang them. We weren’t provided even with hand towels or anything else, and the bath towels themselves were crusty and weirdly yellow. There was also a used bandaid stuck onto the door handle in the room, a pink one with a Minnie Mouse face on it. Sadly I forgot to take a picture to put on here. Save your money and don’t book this hotel, for being the most expensive hotel stay (for a short amount) this hotel completely ruined our mood for the rest of our holiday. You’re better off paying the same price (or less like we did) for park royal/pan pacific where they actually treat you like a guest. Don’t book this hotel, seriously, just avoid it...

Our stay at Golden Suite Apartment was extremely disappointing. Here’s why: Unsafe Carpark – The parking area was poorly lit, with several dark spots. This is unsafe, especially for women who drive alone. Confusing Apartment Access – Finding the correct block with direct lift access was frustrating. Different blocks have different lifts, and there were no proper signages—just a small A4 paper pasted beside the lift entrance. Families with children will find this highly inconvenient, as someone has to get out of the car to check the block. Long Lift Waiting Time – The lifts took an average of 10 minutes to arrive, and during peak hours, it was even worse. This was a major inconvenience. Lack of Privacy & Poor View – The apartment faces other units at a very close distance. You have to keep the curtains closed at all times, or the opposite unit can see everything. If you’re looking for a KLCC view, forget it. Terrible Mattress Quality – The mattress was horrible! I could feel the springs poking through, and I woke up with a sore body. My home mattress is way better than what they provided. Disorganized & Unprofessional Check-Out Process – A day before check-out, I informed the staff via WhatsApp that I would be leaving at 6:30 AM and asked about the check-out process. I was told to leave the key on the table and take a picture—simple, right? Wrong! Upon exiting the car park, we were stuck at the gantry for 30 minutes because we were never informed that a staff member had to retrieve the key from the room before we could leave. When I called for help, instead of apologizing, the staff just told me to wait and later messaged: “You should mention that you are using parking and pay 200 RM parking deposit to be labelled.” What does this even mean? I had already informed them before check-in that I was driving and asked about parking! They should have advised guests properly instead of making us wait like that.

Final Verdict: This place is a complete disaster. Poor communication, unprofessional service, and terrible facilities. Stay at your own risk! We will...

The location was the first thing we booked this property for. The room that was assigned to us later was good, the first one was not as clean.

They shifted us to a better room because the first room was not as good as the booking reference images. They also let us keep our luggages at their office after we checked out from the property.

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND BEFORE YOU BOOK:

Very inconvenient when it comes to getting urgent services from the property owners. They only communicate on WhatsApp message, does not respond to calls or meet. Sometimes you’ll have to wait for 2-3 hours for them to respond before they provide services.

Initially found the owners to be quite rude. After we complained about finding cockroaches in the room, they behaved rudely because we sent them WhatsApp messages at 2am. I mean, we booked a 4 star property, paid them $550 for 7 days, why would they be offended to receive complaints from guests?

There are multiple companies operating in the same building. There is no checking in at the reception. They only have employees who will come to assist you when you WhatsApp them. While booking it seemed like a proper serviced residence. But we later found out that only the specified property owner can help us get any services we need.

We booked golden suites at platinum. The building is known as face suites. And we were assigned sabah suites while checking in. Not sure why such confusing...

We had a very satisfying stay at this hotel hosted by Saba Suites / Golden Suites. The staffs were incredibly accommodating and made sure all needs met. The room was clean, spacious and had a pleasant smell which made it feel even more welcoming. The simple yet elegant set up on bed were amazing. Special mention to Ms. Titi. Overall great experience. - I’d truly recommend Saba Suites / Golden Suites at Platinum KLCC
