OYO 724 Hotel Madras — Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

It's the environment where many Indians live here. So, you must smell a curry in each restaurant, also no exception for this hotel.||The first time I arrived here, the staff was professional enough to give the service. After I completed the administration, he gave us TV remote, AC remote, room key.||||Pros:||1. TV, AC, and the internet connection worked perfectly.||2. There's an addition for mineral bottles each day when your room is cleaned.||3. The bathroom is nice to be enjoyed. LOL||4. the bed was good too.||5. Many restaurants nearby, try Indian food/restaurants if you like strong smell.||||Cons:||1. The toilet was just cleaned the moment before we took the room. It was because we saw the floor wet and there was a shampoo bottle which has the shampoo inside.||2. the day when our room was cleaned, I thought the staff smoked inside the bathroom, my friends and I smelled it. I don't know either it's a cigarette or not, but we're very familiar with the smell.||3. The stair access was just complicated, when we went upstairs, we need to give a sign we're the customers. In day-2, the staff didn't recognize us. In fact, he was the one who served us.||4. The wall/kind of desk or something, above and behind our beds were full of dusk. The staff should have cleaned the room correctly.||5. In the period we stayed there, in every mid-night, there was a truck that rang annoying sounds.||6. No parking lot, there is one that nearby. I booked the hotel as found its price quite competitive. You will get what you paid. The room I was allocated (215) was 8x8 without windows. It is an old property and expect some odour in rooms and washroom. We noticed mosquitoes in room and we complained to staff. They spreyed repellent but we still noticed mosquitoes. The staff was curtious enough, but do not expect any special hospitality. They provide 2 small water bottles with check-in. Though we had to remind them to give us water second day. The hotel is 15 minutes drive from KL Twin towers, you can see twin tower top from outside hotel. ||The food the was another reason for choosing this hotel. They server south indian cusines. It was not very tasty though and service was also not quick. ||Hotel doesn't have any parking lot, as I thought from booking website. I parked my car outside hotel at night. The Hotel was surprisingly good for a such a cheap price . I expected it to be a dingy place but I found it to be well maintained . There's a restaurant in the hotel for indian food so we got to eat very cheap food there . Apart from that they provided us with new towels and toiletries every day and were warm and helpful . ||Only two issues we faced was the room was directly facing the main road so there was noise after 6:30 (although we slept through it) . The other issue was some idiot smoked somewhere in the hotel and the smell seeped through to our room ( a particularly problematic issue for my partially asthmatic friend ). Although the hotel staff was nice enough to provide us with air fresheners we had to open the window to let the air out. ||However despite this, I felt strongly satisfied with all the services and amenities .
