SPOT ON 89698 Budget Inn Hotel — Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

My first priority of looking for a place to stay is that the room and the bathroom must be clean, and this place is all clean. It is not the best room of all in Kuala Lumpur, but with the reasonable price and the great location of the hotel which is located next to the famous Bukit Bintang area and the food stall stretched along the road at night right in front of your doorstep, it is a real catch. The double bed room itself is pretty big for my wife, a 5 years old son and I to spend a really good night sleep for our 3 nights stay there. We got a private bathroom in the room and it's nice and clean.The hostel has another building located just a stone throw away from this one and I see that their rooms are nicer over there; however, since more people choose to stay there, it becomes too crowded there. I like this building since it is more quiet and therefore a much better sleeping experience. To get your breakfast, some toast and sunny side up eggs or boiled one if you like, can be taken from the main building, which is located around 10 meters at the right side once you step out of the hostel; and they are really good to start your day for...

Pros:|1. Convenient location. In the middle of Jalan Alor, food street is right outside of the hotel. MRT is easily accessible. ||2. It’s cheap. RM 75 dollars per night.||Cons:|1. It can be noisy during nighttime as there’s a busy night street outside. ||2. Staff attitude is poor upon checking-in. Not really attentive and barely speaks English. ||3. Poor maintained room. Cleanliness and tidiness is below average, facilities were old and some of it were broken.||4. Wifi speed is terrible, you can barely use your WhatsApp in your room. Unless you walk to public areas.||5. No smoking. It’s clearly stated that no smoking in the premises, however, staff were noted smoking in the premises. ||6. Well, the room that I got was next to the public washroom. In other words, there was a fan (for suction purposes) on the wall of my room. From time to time, there will be some weird smell roaming in my room. So, I learned to tolerate with it.||Yet, what it surprised me was the "little play" that I got to listen during the nights. Rats were squeaking and also running along the ceiling. And it was kinda terrifying. Of course, I do know that I was paying a low price for the room, but I did not expect to have this kind of treatment. So, I barely can have a good rest.||The positive remarks for this inn will be the location. It's near to those well known places. You can certainly get food easily...
