Golden Bay Hotel — Hotel in Malacca

We stayed there for 1 night on 6 June. As this was a last minute plan, we could find much choice for hotel which could fit for 2 adult and 2 child. Room had 1 queen size bed and 1 single bed which was perfect for my need.||Room and toilet was clean.||||Receptionist (boy)was very helpful.||Its not very far from Mahkota Parade. ||This hotel is suitable for people who is looking for room which is basic and clean.||Saw few families who was their repeat clients. ||||There are no electrical kettle available in the room. But you can get hot water from dispenser on 1st floor. Please purchase mineral water as its not provided.||||Items in the room.||1) Old model TV which had clear reception.||2) Small bar of soap and Packet Shampoo.||3) Rubber Slippers.||4) Towels (which was clean and fresh).||5) 3 Mugs||6) A roll of toilet tissue.|| ||Toilet was clean and comes with standing shower.||||I will suggest this hotel for clients who are having vehicle (own vehicle / car hire).||Its not suitable for clients who plan to do walking tours.||||Finally would say its a budget hotel which is suitable for...

I been staying here the last 4 years, a very basic hotel mostly for traveling businessman/sales ppl.|Rooms are very clean, showers strong. Some rooms without Windows might have issues with left over cigarette smell from previous nights... Though these room do come with a suction ventilators.|It's located near to some great restaurants.|Steamboat, Korean restaurant, baba Nyonya food, the kueh teow kia right beside it. A Japanese fusion restaurant just to name a few. I had a bad experience with this hotel. I don't mind with the outdated TV at all. All I care is cleanliness. They didn't clean up the waste from previous customers. The pads from previous customers were there in the dustbin. Plus the bug bed cause my sleepless night deteriorated at its finest. They are cheap but they shouldn't neglect the cleanliness especially...
