OYO 764 Hotel Famous Inn — Hotel in Malacca

We made a telephone booking to this hotel, supposedly to stay from 06 to 07 Nov'10. Verbally, the room rates was confirmed at RM80nett per room per night and we agreed.||||Upon reaching there on 07 Nov'10, we were told to pay RM100nett. The person who confirmed our rerservations was new (she claimed). We were very upset as this has nothing to do with us at all and the counter staff insists that it was RM100nett as it was public holidays (super peak). We argued there and finally unwillingly, after discussion with another lady, she gave to us at RM80nett (but can see she was still upset about it)||||We even told her our last stay there was in March and it was a weekend stay and cost us RM75nett. She argued with us stating that RM75nett was a weekday rate. RM80nett is a weekend rate and because that weekend was a Deepavali long weekend, the rate should be RM100nett.||||Thereafter, she requested us for deposit of RM50. We were already very upset with her attitude of the unknown raised hotel price and now she was asking for deposit. We told her that in our previous stay, there was no deposit required.||||The next comment was - if you dont feel like staying you can dont stay with us!||||We were indeed very put off already and walked out from the hotel.||||Never again will we want to step into this...

We got an bad experience with reception guys.chubby type wth baba attire.we supposed check in 2 pm.but we arrive early.and we ask him,about check in,but he give a bad feedback,he said room still not available.so we wnt to wait until 2 pm at the lobby,around 2 minutes.he told ask to wear mask,. actually my spouse wear a msk and sit at the chair,than he said he dont want any enforcer came in??wht with his attitude we understand with sop,and he than ask my husband where we book by,my husbnd said from agoda.and he show him the details by hp.but the reception really racist type.he told us cannot wait inside,at the lobby or he must charge us by perhour.1 hour RM 10.no policies tht stndart motel can charge customer.omg🤷.we decide to cancel our...

I booked this hotel on Agoda 3 days before my stay, but the reception manager call me on the second day, told me that the price I paid did not meet their minimum price, he ask me to pay more to match their desire price, I think this is ridiculous because they set their selling price on OTA, but refuse to take the order. Finally he force me to cancel my booking, make me spend a lot of time to deal with Agoda. Super bad experience, totally...
