Cheat about free parking on website. Yet shamelesly explain it's always that way. Door electronic lock spoiled. We're stuck there keep trying vainlessly with our luggages. Have to call for help in the end. Was told the room lock is not working, then gave us a key, asking us to use it open manually for the rest of days. Mattress not clean. Pillow too thin, have to fold it or put hand underneath to sleep better. Pillow case has obvious blood stain. No air conditioner remote control. Air conditioner quite unstable, sometimes not working. Incredible "rare" attitude. When we ask for pillow change. One guy name Aili ( maybe I heard wrong or he tell me a funny name) said OK but then that's end of it. We call again after vain waiting for 20 minutes. He said no extra pillow, but will try and call us. Another 20 min, we call him again, he say no more pillow (both times we are to call him after long wait, why can't he just call back to inform?) We ask to talk to his manager. He just hanged the phone, and blocked call from our room as we can't call reception after that. We can call again after half an hour and he said can't help us, also he's busy now as we are not the only customer there... We later go down and he keep ask us wait first. Even when he's free, he also try avoid us, talk to other staff and wait for new customer to come in and serve them but skip us. Finally another staff gave us pillow we requested hours ago. We still didn't talk face to face...
Read moreThere is no free parking space. All around it must be paid using hourly coupons that they don't even provide. The parking spot in front of the hotel main entrance is apparently not for customers. It is only meant for the staff as one of them claim. I'm not even able to unload my heavy luggage from the main entrance. They told me to park at the back alley and unload by entering through a cramped locker hall that smelt of cigarette smoke. After receiving the key card, I went straight up to level 2 carrying my heavy luggage, only to realize that I could not get in So I had to go back down with my luggage to report the issue, and then go back up again with my arms already sore and no one cared to give me a bit of a hand. They gave me 3 towels, all of them were stained. The WiFi didn't work on the first day. The counter lady did not greet me well, nor did she even smile. Entering the room, it smelt bad for three days even after I tried putting my car perfume inside. When I checked out, I got a parking ticket on my car. And only after that did one of the staff tell me that I had to buy coupons to place in my car every hour. The free parking advertisement is false. There is no free parking. After all that, they had the nerves to ask me to rate them 5 stars so that I can get cheaper deals in the future with OYO. Sorry but I'm not going to lie just to get cheaper deals at a hotel that won't guarantee...
Read moreBEWARE if booking this hotel via a broker. You may think you're getting a city centre residence as it's saying .9 miles to the centre but you may end up staying in their batu berendam hotel as there are lots of hotel 96s. If you end up in batu berendam it's a two bus trip for approximately an hour to the centre or a 30rm taxi journey each way. The batu berendam branch is in the sticks, there is no cafe or resturant, nothing going on and you'll have to pay for a taxi for laundry. I checked out early very dissapointed with no refund. Make sure you book the melaka raya hotel or the central one andidi be...
