The hotel touts itself as being 2-stars, which is surprising because the service was definitely barely even there. Starting from checking in, the reception launched a tirade about how we couldn't check in early even though the room was still available. They wanted us to pay more, and told us that this was standard practise in hotels everywhere. Personally, I haven't been to more than a few dozen hotels, but not once has any ever turned a guest down who is early when the room is still available. In the room there was an inventory list of all the times that should have been in the room, but quite a few were missing. From face towels to even the basic necessities like slippers. When asked, they simply said not all the rooms got them. I guess they certainly weren't using the extra time while we waited to make sure that the room was ready. Perhaps the best part of the trip was facing an abandoned building for the view. TV only had channels in malay, so I hope you have streaming services on your personal devices. The only saving grace was that the room was big, though midway through our bathroom lock broke and we had to call maintenance to come and fix it.

The hotel is located at old Melaka town, and right behind is a block of abandoned construction sites, which is an unpleasant view to those staying with window facing the back.||||We were given a room with saliva stinky smell, and to my very surprise is when we confronted the front desk, the reception said she know about it. We are so frustrated with the answer and demand for a room change. They swap us to a higher floor with the toilet seems to be un-cleaned as well.||||Then we were referred to a housekeeper to source an acceptable room, which ended up walking with him and surveyed another 2 rooms before we could finally settle down.||||Real disappointed and would never...

Upon reaching the hotel, we were sceptical about the hotel as it doesn't look like a hotel at all from a far..|After we checked in and open the doors to our room, boy we were surprised by the interior! A jacuzzi in both bathrooms! There are 4beds in the outer room and a king sized bed and sofa in the master bedroom!|Overall we had a pleasant stay and there is a KFC restaurant that opens 24hours just at the corner of the building.. There is no dedicated carpark for the hotel and you have to be fast enough enough to get a parking space at the public parking space along the perimeter of the...
