Pros :
I really love my stay here but heres little cons that i hope the owner will take note to further enhance the value
Oh yaa, finding a parking can be challenging during daytime but at night, theres plenty. If u are parking between 9am - 6pm, pls display the parking coupons ( note: Melaka's police are very diligent in giving out summons)
Overall, we had a pleasant stay here. As the pros outweighed the cons, we will definitely come back...
Read more-The first time I ended up in the hospital after staying in a hostel. I stayed in the room without air conditioning and ended up with a heatstroke and IV’s by the morning time. Spent the night pouring sweat and slept one hour max. I booked the room because of privacy but ended up not getting it because I had to sleep with the door open, and also other rooms with air conditioning did the same (the heat and lack of air flow was that horrible in the hostel) -The bathroom was always dirty as well and filled with ants -Even found ants on the walls of the room. -Woke up with a dozen of massive insect bites in the morning -The owner was nice in the beginning but everything was about money and could tell in the end he didn’t care about the comfort or safety of his guests. I was told the only solution was to pay triple the price if I wanted an air conditioning room -The “cheap” price is not worth it, I booked another hostel and left this place after going to the hospital and the new one was absolutely lovely. Please don’t stay here, there’s plenty of better...
Read moreI enjoyed staying at Lavender. I arrived having dislocated my shoulder a few days earlier and so my arm was in a sling. When I mentioned to the owners how much pain I was in they went to the trouble of adding another mattress and more pillows for me.||||The lady ?owner is expatriate and was able to give me advice about clinics, using grab etc. ||||They have put a lot of work into making the common area nice with tasteful Japanese themed decor, quality coffee, a range of seating options, good wifi.||||One plus point is that once you are in the room, they close the online booking so you can stay as long as you want and pay daily. Most places in Malacca will sell your room and ask you to leave. Also, there are long stay rates posted at reception and no tourist tax or dual pricing nonsense, everyone pays the same, regardless of race or religion.||||Overall this is a good choice. Thanks for my stay Harry and Maya;...
