OYO 835 Ms Hotel — Hotel in Malacca

Despite the best location, I despise the way the hotel handles their guests. I booked the room from an online booking service, when arrived, have another 3 gentlemen was waiting to check-in to their room, but apparently the room rate provided by the website 2 months ago was different with the actual day rate on that particular day (public holiday). One of the guys try to sort it out with the front desk, and a dissapointing reply from the hotel was "No sir, you cannot contact the manager because he/she does not want to be bothered. You can proceed to check-in with the additional room rate, or you can find another hotel somewhere else. You can also complain to whoever you want because the room rate today is different from the one published on that site". Although it didn't happen to me (booked 3-4 days earlier), but it may as well. ||My advice, avoid this hotel on peak seasons (school holidays, public holidays) because you may be surprised by the surplus charge that they didn't inform earlier, or risking getting headache dealing with rude front desk and even worse hotel manager. ||||On plus side, clean room, clean hotel. Wifi only accesible...

Stayed here for a very cheap price of RM50. However, I did not expect such a bad experience after looking at the reviews and the exterior of the hotel. The toilet door was spoilt, couldn't close properly and the water heater didn't not provide hot water (only normal temperature). The bedsheet and blanket were VERY DIRTY. After covering myself with the bedsheet, I felt itchy because of the dust and probably bugs. I believe that rooms with window is generally the same as rooms...

Dirty bedsheets and stained pillows. Air cond is not cooling. Dusty surfaces. Cigarette smell in the walkways. I don't feel save leaving my belongings in the room because the hotel only have the room door with a metal key for security. Not recommended. I am not a fuzzy traveller but i can get better rooms...
