This is my worst experience ever. We had our dinner. Half way during our meal, we found out that there is a hair in our pork so we asked the stuff A for help and so she bring the pork in the kitchen. When she return to us, she told us that they will give us half price on the pork since we dy have more than half of it. Right after she left, stuff B came to us and bring us a fruit plate with an apologise saying that this is for the company apologies.

Everything was nice till when we asked for the bill. We were charged for the full amount for the pork instead of half. So we asked for the stuff A once again but when she ask us to wait where she went to the kitchen, and there she never return to us. Instead stuff B came to us and ask us what is the problem. We explained all of it and staff B started to complain stuff A saying that she is new and she doesn't know the company policy. And tell us that, since they aldready provided us the fruit plate so there is no more half price (we are not informed). She even say that are we trying to frame, cause her to lost her salary. At the end we do not want to argue anymore since it is not a big amount. But this doesn't means that we are wrong.

What u promise is a promise. When u try to change something without explaining n u expecting we to know what you thinking? Don't tell me who work longer will have more knowledge. Since you work longer but yet u can't even solve our problem. It is not the problem of the price but the attitude!

Felt so disappointing to this restaurant and the stuff. There will be a NO...

I would give this restaurant 5 stars - NEGATIVE 5 stars because this was the WORST OF THE WORST service I have experienced in my life.

Went there with 2 young kids recently. Waited for ordered food to arrive. 45 minutes later nothing came. Our order was simple. Parts of fish, a plate of vegetables, omelette and a plate of fried rice. Told the female staff who took the order to at least serve the plain rice first as the kids were hungry. 10 minutes later nothing came. I told the female staff to cancel the order at which point she became very aggressive. She called her boss, a big man, who came and shouted very loud at us threateningly to pay. I was not frightened by his aggressive behavior, but for the sake of my kids who were clearly scared that they were going to be beaten, we decided to pay and left. Told the female staff I am donating to them. Her behavior became even more aggressive. Only after I told her I'll place reviews on social media did her aggressive behavior abate. A young man, probably the owner's son was such a m*n, was talking nonsense, saying everybody has a stomach and had to wait. What's even more disappointing was that there was only 1 other table with 2 customers. A group of 3 men who had just arrived noticed everything and yet still patronised.

This is not a place for families and certainly not for those with kids.

I saw the reviews here by other customers and am not surprised at the majority of very poor reviews. Don't believe the 5 star ratings. They are most likely from the...

OMG!! So Awesome! It’s not often I find great service in Malaysia (lived here for 12 years), but I cannot express how amazing this experience really was. I was looking all over for my favorite food, sweet & sour fish, and it was only RM10 (I will warn you other dishes are pricier but I would say that they are very competitive and reasonable). The food was hot, the beer was ICE COLD just the way it’s supposed to be, and when I asked for a bucket to keep it that way, they were on top of it. Staff was so friendly, I will definitely make this one of my go-to spots from now on, especially as my office is close by. And to top it off, I’ve been looking for a place to fill up my filtered water bottles, and there’s a really cheap machine here for that as well. So great! I visited 8 restaurants and none of them had the selection of seafood they have here (I even saw bullfrog😅). They also have a Nasi campur buffet for lunch I’m going to...

Had dinner at this restoran as we had previously ate here before few years back. Cheese prawn bee hoon: Really flavourful and wife still likes it even after all these years. A must to try! Sin Chew Bee Hoon: The bee hoon they used is very thin almost like tang hoon texture. Nice and flavourful. Salted fish fried tau ghey: Simple dish which my mum ordered, ok to eat. Pineapple fried rice: The curry they used was quite heavy flavoured, might have been abit overpowering for kids. Hotplate beancurd with minced chicken: Standard dish to order but i think there is quite a heavy stink due to some seafood being used, ok to have. Horlicks prawn ball: The prawns are fried to crisp and can be consumed whole. The horlick taste was not overly strong, would be nice if it was with salted egg. Will be back again in the future if we were to be back to stay. Lazy to queue for the other famous restoran nearby...

Went through the ratings before I decided a place for my dinner. Originally, I wanted to go another famous restaurant that is very near to Zhong Tai but that queue is too long so we had decided to try Zhong Tai. Turns out it is soooo gooood 👍👍👍 I would say current rating is so underrated. The boss is very friendly and intro us a few choices. Ordered and the foods is yummy 😋 Too bad did not ordered the signature prawn mee as 1 of us allergy to prawn. The 桂花鱼 (Golden Snapper) is a must to order! I missed it so much for the rest of my melaka trip and I will definitely go back again. We ordered nyonya stong curry, sambal okra and drawf bean as well. All are good but drawf bean a bit cant beat others due to just fried with garlic but it is still good. Last but not least, this shop is pet friendly! Brought our poodle with us and met another 2 furkids as well.
