We booked a private room in the new part of their hostel, this was a 5 minute walk further away from town to a large apartment complex. It was very modern, new and clean. Our room was also very comfortable and clean. Unfortunately, there seemed to be some drainage issues which could cause quite an unpleasant smell, this also meant that we were unable to use the tap in the communal kitchen as the water bubbled up from the drain in the kitchen, not ideal. We were also charged 60RM for tourism tax, until we did our research and learnt it is 10RM per room, per night. Not per person, per night. If you are a solo backpacker Or a Traveler couple who loves to meet people and likes cold weather, then this is your place. !!

They have an open Kitchen, a get-together placewhere you can talk to other travellers, Back of that hostel there is a bar with a Pool Table.

You can also rent bikes from them.

They have a place to Hang and dry the clothes.

And the people running this place are so fantastic that you just feels like home !!!

And its peaceful! You can hear the birds chirping in the morning!

Overall its the best place in Tanah Rata (Camaroon Highlands)

I have not checked in to this hostel, but the customer service has given me bad impression due to the attitude and service quality. If the receptionist is so unwilling to entertain the customer that asks the enquiry, then you shall not open this business to the public. Hostel is part of service industry, and do not think that customer is just contacting you for fun, if the customer has no issue personally, why would he/she look for you to ask question, even if it is just a simple one?...
