The starts of the staying here, mark me with the rest of unpleasent experience and i had come with a simple conclusion.
The check in time was 2pm, yet our room was not ready. The excuse of yesterday fully book was not acceptable at all. The excuse of one room service attendent also was not acceptable. Then they said my room will be raedy only at 3pm. The latest will be 2.30. I have been to many hotel, which checkin was late, they extended the stay hour for about 30munites to an hour as for appology gesture. But this hotel denied the practise. The answer was immedietely red flag sign to me.
The lady staff assign at the front of the house, was a little sarcastic with the expression and tone using to answer few simple question. She did reply with seems to be "nice" way, but the gesture was not pleasent at all. Above all matter and request ask, the word sorry was not coming out from the mouth. So it hit me for the rest of my stay, will be an unpleasent experience.
In the room, i was welcome with trolley cart with things and ammenities for the rooms. I can tolerate that. What a long travel journey, the search of the bath towel was not there. With no phone to call front office provided in the room. I have to walk down and ask for the towel. The answer once again surprise me. The towel was not ready due to yesterday fully booked??? How a hotel operate with no extra towel for upcoming guest? Again the indian lady working at the front office telling me that the towel will only ready ay 10pm? Are you being serious?
The room on the other side of problems was not yet ended. The room has only one power point in the bath room and 2 at the bedding area. One was used for tv and only remaining was one power point. No bed side bedding power point to be found.
Every cameron stay ive been, this is the only room with no ceiling or wall fan to accomodate. I thought that the fan is a essential equipment to be install in the room?
The bedroom is clean, as well as bathroom. The location stategic as a next building providing atm machine for withdrawing cash. Opposite walking distance a line of hawkers and stall selling food. Despite that, the whole staying was not a recomended. Feel free to booked others hotel as this hotel not customer orriented at all. Excuses by excuses given to cover the bad service. Overall i give...
Read moreMisleading info in booking. com. I booked for Deluxe Suite with City View. I specifically searched for hotel that have King bed with great view with BALCONY. Paid RM200++ to stay here. However I am disappointed due to misleading info.
I got room with Queen bed city view. The room is good at first glance but I came far from CH and I have baby with me hence king bed is needed. Told the receptionist but only one room is available and of course it was downgraded from what i have at first.
So the 2ND Room given was king bed but no view no balcony. Its a corner room. The wall was moldy, some paint was flacky, the blanket somehow smaller, not suitable for king size, no iron board in room, eventho its outside why use cheap one? upgrade lah sikit adui. But bathroom is superb. Pretty, water temp and pressure good, clean, big.
Lift served the purpose. 3rd floor got smoking smell. Parking at shop lot. Booking apps told me that there is a parking! aiyoo. No parking provided for guest. Drop off luggage infront of the hotel a bit risky. Not a proper area. Food nearby...
Read moreNestled within the picturesque landscape of Cameron Highlands, my stay at Melur Inn was a delightful escape. From the moment I arrived, the warm greeting extended by the husband and wife, presumably the proprietors of the hotel, set the tone for a wonderful stay. Their kind gesture of offering a discounted price added a personal touch to the experience.
The room itself was a cozy haven, surprising me with its spaciousness considering the reasonable price. It provided a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the highlands. Additionally, the convenience of having banks and cafes within walking distance was a definite plus, making it effortless to immerse myself in the local atmosphere.
This stay has left an indelible mark, compelling me to plan a return visit. Melur Inn is undoubtedly a hidden gem in Cameron Highlands, and I eagerly anticipate experiencing its...
