Orchid Food Corner — Restaurant in Pahang

I had a delicious lunch at orchid food corner Cameron Highlands with my friends. The restaurant is located at Jalan Camelia, near the bus station and the market. It is a popular place among locals and tourists who want to enjoy some authentic Malaysian cuisine. The restaurant is a covered outdoor area with simple tables and chairs. The menu is written in Malay, but the staff are helpful and friendly. They can explain the dishes and recommend some specialties. We ordered some roti canai, nasi lemak, chicken curry and teh tarik. The food was served quickly and hot. The roti canai was crispy and flaky, and went well with the spicy curry sauce. The nasi lemak was fragrant and rich, with coconut rice, sambal, anchovies, peanuts and boiled egg. The chicken curry was tender and flavorful, with a thick gravy that had a nice balance of spices. The teh tarik was frothy and sweet, a perfect drink to wash down the food. We enjoyed every bite of our meal and felt satisfied. Servis teruk giler..aku serik doh g sini..kau order lain yg sampai lain..yg plg pelik kau order 4 bende yg sampai 3 je itupun ada yg salah sampai ke meja. Actually sini ada few stalls from different owners. ada naan ada yg steamboat/nasi2, ada bhgian capati & ada bahagian Western. Waiter yg sama ambil order tp dia tak deliver order tu dgn betul ke setiap stall owner..aku tunggu set naan cheese aku punya lama sekali bila aku tny kt naan stall dorg boleh ckp waiter xde order..pastu bila aku nak order semula dia boleh ckp ada dekat 10 order waiting sblm aku..menyirap betul darah aku..pastu bila aku panggil waiter dia dgn stall owner dok bertekak sorg kata dah order sorg kata xterima order.bodoh betul customer jadi mangsa..hilang terus mood aku nak makan! Pastu waiter sikit pun xde mtk maaf..boleh buat muka selamber je..aku klu ikutkan mmg dh angin nk ngamuk tp suami aku tahan..dhla aku pregnant nk makan naan cheese smp ke sudah aku tak merasa..😭 pastu aku order milo ais tabur smp2 milo panas..pastu bila aku komplen dgn selamber ckp ais habis..bodoh betul..mmg aku cancel jela..bkn nk bgtau awal2 pastu suka2 hati tukar order customer. Kalau dr awal kau ckp lain jenis makanan lain owner sng aku order terus kt stall..ni menyusahkan org..bkn aku je terkena mlm tu..ramai muka2 customer bengang sbb jd kes sme mcm aku..order lain dpt lain..ada customer tu order air je pun smp 3 kali order tak sampai2..pastu air sampai straw pun xbg smp customer kena panggil lagi..sumpah servis kedai ni plg teruk pernah aku jumpa dgn waiter...

We loved this place and we even came back two times. The staff was very helpful and spoke good English (some of them). You can just go there and take a seat at any of the tables that are free. They will come and take your order which will then be prepared by one of the small stalls around. Very good solid price/value ratio.
