Well, well, well …Nacho Daddy has nachos but even better they have Customer Service above and beyond..

I got to tell you about Slim Slim is the tall, lanky, goatee-sprouting handsome dude greeting you as you come in. A cheery and welcoming “Hola, welcome young friends. Come in and have a seat and we’ll be right with you to get your order”, greeting is uttered to all. I know this as I sat at the table beside him (just inside the doorway) for about an hour. On a well travelled road and seconds from any bus or taxi, Nacho Daddy is well situated in the Centro part of PV. But you can find the place on Google Maps, I am here to testify about how inviting the place is and how I was awestruck by Slim’s great service. I ordered a beer and then ordered the Chili con Carne. Man, that was some f*g hot chili, I exclaimed in more polite language. Slim heard my distress, apologized profusely and immediately offered to substitute for some taco soup. I agreed offering to pay for the chili. Nonsense, exclaimed Slim, you’ll do no such thing. The soup (delicious) arrived in a snap and was consumed with great gusto. Meanwhile, guest were coming and going, being greeted and bade farewell until next time. Music, hot tunes, hotter live bands, hottest chicks, and hot licks are found here first in Puerto Vallarta. Don’t say that you did not come here when you visited PV as you will be embarrassed by your friends and acquaintances. You GOTTA GO HERE. I brought my friends, the Martinez family of Abraham, Chelly and Valentina. I had the humongous Burritos/Chimichanga with the delicious local shrimp straight out of the adjacent Bahiá de Banderas with a side of Papas Fritas (French Fries) Abraham ordered the Pollo (chicken) Fajitas, Chelly went with the Guacamole, Bacon & Cheese burger. The 2 year old had one Enchiladas and Frijoles. Pictures to follow. We were at the establishment after a Futbol game which started at 7:30 so it must have been around 9ish. Even at this late hour, being served supper was no big deal. Run of the mill. The place was busy with customers coming, going, greeting, and chatting. You could tell that this was a place of convening and meeting friends. The wait staff were attentive, fast, and friendly. The atmosphere is inviting, warm...

CONSUMER BEWARE: Had dinner there and to be honest, I never take the time to leave a review on places I go except to recommend a place verbally to friends. But this time I couldn't keep myself from making sure other people don't have to be made to feel as offended as I do right now. We went there for dinner which was good, but nothing to brag about and when we finished our meals, the people who worked there just rudely watched us as we finished up and paid for our dinner (525 pesos and left a 160 peso tip) we told a few stories and finished our drink while the whole time the employees stood there and stared at us with no smile each time I looked there way which made me feel uneasy enough to hurry us on out of there. But, what happened next is what really got me. As soon as we stood to leave the bus boy David who had been standing there with others yells out "FINALLY!" As he had been standing at the table next to us staring us down. I was appalled probably because I would never, ever treat anyone like that and that was beyond rude!!!! Now go out and find yourself a nice place to enjoy yourself a nice dinner as I am sure...

Stopped in after multiple recommendations to try this place. Honestly was not that impressed. The food was alright, there are better options around, for the price. Personally I felt it was a little pricy for what was offered.

Our issue came when we were trying to leave. We asked for the check, it took an excessive amount of time. Normally this would be no issue, we sat there while he took other tables orders, ran drinks, and food for aprox 3 other tables. I have worked in service before so I was patient with him. As he was passing by, I asked for it again. He said he would be right back with it. We then watched someone ask him for their check and he immediately delivered their check and took their payment. He then went back to running food. In total it took us 20 min to get the check.. Once we got the bill, we then waited another 10 min to actually pay. I am not sure what the situation was, he was being attentive to every other person in the restaurant except for us. We walked over to the owner and asked if he could check us out so we could leave. It shouldn't take 30 min to leave a restaurant when all you're trying...

This was not the review I wanted to write about this place. First this was my fault for eating here. I didn't realize this was a Tex-Mex restaurant until I was leaving. I was purposely looking to try places farther away from the beach. Service and bartender were fine. Speed of service was great. Portion size was great. I was the only person ordering food in the restaurant. Mango margarita would have been great if ice was crushed enough to drink through the straw. Chili Relleno would have been wonderful but the sauce on top was flavorless. If the sauce had more flavor this dish would have been amazing. The chimichinga was fresh and hot. Filled with meat and cheese. But again it's missing flavor. Both of these dishes have such potential to be awesome. The guacamole and sour cream did help a lot. Maybe if the meals was accompanied by fresh lime and a variety of salsa that would have helped.

We were traveling with some friends that wanted some Tex-Mex, and this place did not disappoint. I’ll be honest with you I did not think it was going to be as good as it was. But their chili was probably some of the best I’ve ever had. All I could think was man I wish I had this recipe I would eat this on every cold night I could. And don’t get me wrong I think my own chili is pretty good. The nachos were incredible! They are way too big for one person to eat, so if you’re going to get them get ready to split them. Very chill vibe in this restaurant, the white staff was amazing and I’m sure the drinks were just as good although I only went with the water I was not mad. If you’re looking for A flavor of home, this is the place. I don’t think you’re gonna be disappointed if you stop in and try the nachos.

Great place for live music, great atmosphere, service and even kid/baby friendly! Their drinks were very fair priced and came quickly. The crowd is of all ages and always seems to be steadily busy with people coming and going everytime we passed by or went in. We went to catch the Canucks game and they were more then happy to accommodate us in switching TVs to play it. There are enough's TVs to watch several sport games etc! Accross the street is Steve's Sports bar...and they are unfriendly, as we attempted there first, just because it was on the side we were walking and figured we would check it out beforehand, but left right away!!
