We had a very pleasant stay in Hotel Juarez! They gave us a room from the top floor so we had a nice view overlooking the rooftops of historical centre of CDMX from our little balcony and were woken up in the morning with beautiful sunrise. Our room was clean and had everything we needed and expected from a decent hotel room. It gets a little cold during the winter as we were there in February but at least there are blankets and hot water available. I think the hotel doesn’t have Wifi in the rooms but the public Wifi of the city reached our room fine. The receptionists and cleaning staff were really friendly and helpful. They stored our luggage safely for the day we checked out as we were flying out so we were able to go shopping and sightseeing. It was excellent value for money as the...
Read moreNice place, was on the fourth floor and wifi was fine. I requested a room with a balcony and they were very nice and accommodating. Staff is very hardworking and helpful, they are also very respectful about cleaning and leaving your things. The area is amazing, especially for the price- and the weather is great in July. It does get loud at night if you leave the window open, but melatonin can help with this and it’s a result of the location. Really my only issue was how hard the beds are- it was really bad for my mother’s back problems and not great to rest on when we got back so consider this if you are looking for a long stay. This is also one of the only places with a working elevator. Overall, this hotel was great and charming, and the staff are some of the...

For the price it was a very nice deal. I will surely return, but the next time I would ask for a room far from the alley, because on both Friday and Saturday that I stayed there was a party ouside, with loud music until the wee hours of the morning. Nothing a pair of ear plugs can't solve though, but a nuisance nonetheless. It is close to everything, the Cathedral is only a minute away, walking, literally. Right at the entrance to the alley there's a cafe, El Popular, with excellent food and even better coffee and bars, taquerias and all kind of restaurants on a two...
