Worst taco place that we visited in our whole 1 month vacation in Mexico. I had their Al pastor tacos which gave me a horrible diarrhea. The fact that they have this piece of meat cooking all day and then storing it to then be cook the meat again is what causes tourist like myself to get salmonella. I also ordered a huarache with carnitas, instead I was given tripa. I told the waiter about my concern, but he said that what i was given was carnitas. I’m from Michoacán, the land of carnitas so I know what carnitas look like. I was not offered an exchange nor a refund for that item. I was hopeful that at least it tasted good, but it was burnt and fatty. Overall, I do NOT suggest anyone to visit this place. Do yourself a favor and...

CDMX Eats 2024 #50, Taco #20: this was one of the first places I ever ate when I came to Mexico City ~10 years ago and was staying at a eke hostel nearby 😅

After that first trip, I returned and wasn't very impressed. However, after (finally) going to see Lucha Libre one Saturday night, we came here as it was close enough and still open.

If you're in Centro and it's late, def swing by for an order of tacos ($36/3pz) and a beer ($40). Most of us ordered al pastor and my partner ordered the suadero.

The tacos were good (full disclosure: I was not sober), service was above average, and the place was almost full/lot of good energy. Nice place to refuel and have...

I have lived in the area for a few years and never tried this taqueria. It is a tourist trap. In general the food was bland, the pastor meat had no flavor, the jar where the beer was poured was broken and even though I asked, nobody changed it. And the service was not efficient, they could not even get the table clean the first time. The place upstairs looks like it needs some serious cleaning, specially the bathroom area. I will definitely not go back. We actually left highly disappointed and went to eat around the corner, to a place I knew was better. Don’t go to this place. Looks attractive on the outside, but it...

When in Mexico City, you can "almost" count on taco shops to be a guarantee, but it is NOT the case. This restaurant has the advantage of being in a super busy area and is usually busy. It looks good, smells good and should be good but the truth is, its very very average. In my personal semi-expert opinion of eating great food in this city for years and years, my recommendation is to stay away. No, really! Thera are waaaay to many options to waste stomach room on this place. I have tried it twice and I won't be fooled again. If "al pastor" is what you crave, head over to: El CALIFA
