The hotel gave the Jamaica Women Football Federation a superb service during the Concacaf W Championship. Since the arriving to the hotel you feel welcomed to stay. The frontdesk staff people, Camila, Rosario, Karina, Alex, and Jorge, always helpful with whatever was needed. The bell boys and security staff with the best intentions and always thoughtful. The level of organization and attention gave by the group coordinator Veronica and the maitre Primitivo was sublime. The hotel has amenities such as a outdoor pool, steam room, spa, and gym. The hotel is located in one of the best places in San Pedro Garza Garcia, near to malls, restaurants, and bars. Adding that it has an entrance directly connected to the Fashion Drive Mall. Camino Real Hotel Monterrey is a hotel that stands out by its service.

At first glance the hotel looks really impressive. Staff were nice and helpful, but my room didn't seem as clean as I expected it to be. The dresser seemed dusty inside and out. There was this unpleasant smell in the room that got worse if I raised the A/C. And the flies....I was killing these stupid little flies every day during my stay. And the elevators smelled of b/o. I have a high tolerance for things so I didn't bring this up during my stay, and I might still stay here in the future, but that was my experience. Hopefully I was just unlucky and got a bad room. On the upside its location is great, it's next to a giant mall and across from more restaurants.

This had to have been one of the worst stays in a hotel ever. First of all, I was put into a room which should have never been sold, for various reasons. Overall, the Camino Real is a nice hotel, but it did nothing to help my stay.

As you come into the hotel, it opens up into a huge marble-walled atrium, probably 5 or 6 stories high. First issue is the noise- it is unbearable with the echoing of music, people talking and at the time I was there, the mass of screaming and running children. It was absolutely unbearable. I arrived to my room, which was on the top of the atrium level, and my door was off the atrium, I thought surely it is a heavy door and will block out the sound. Boy was I wrong. Of course, the hotel was sold out and I was unable to change, but I did have high hopes that the din would die down later and allow me to sleep.

The rooms are nice, lots of marble everywhere. However, the room seemed like it's being prepared for renovation. When I closed the blinds before getting ready for bed, I saw that there was a space for a roller, where no roller existed, but there were two other roller blinds, but they did not block out all of the light. On the other side from the atrium was my window facing the street, so I had the din of the atrium on one side and the rumble and roar of the traffic on the other- and anybody who has been to Mexico knows that the Mexicans like to stay out late.

On Saturday morning, after a late night working, there was a LOUD piano playing in the atrium restaurant, which echoed horribly through my door.

On a positive note, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast good, but that still failed to make up for the interrupted sleep.

If you do stay here, make SURE to get a room ABOVE the atrium (floor 24 and higher) and on the opposite side...

This is my last time at this hotel.|I have been staying in here before with good experience due to the great location. This time during check in I was given two rooms keys, which none of them work already in the elevator, came back to the reception, and the receptionist gave me two keys and zero apologize about this. When arriving to the room, there was no fridge and a bunch of cables totally unorganized. Call the reception about it and again no apologizes and they changed me to another room. The other room was not fully cleaned, and I could find rest of open bottles in the trash, besides that the floor and the mirrors in the toilet were not clean. I did mention that to reception when in my way to dinner and again zero apologize but what surprise me more is that even that I have mentioned this to the reception on the other day, the mirrors where exactly as I found the day before. Since their customer service it’s not there. This was my last time...

Camino Real Monterrey used to be a very nice hotel, classy and elegant. They probably have new management and went to the cheap, cut cost, low maintenance practices. They removed the carpet from rooms and installed cheap laminated floor not even matching the main colors in the rooms. The floors are poorly installed and make the hotel look like a cheap motel 6 or worse. The price quality relation is no longer acceptable. They changed to "day light" "cool Light" light bulbs instead of the classy "warm light" light bulbs and that make the hotel look even cheaper. The maintenance in the bathrooms does not exist. Rusted hinges, mismatching screws, broken marble slabs, soap and shampoo bottles screwed in the shower wall definitely ruined this hotel. I used this hotel for my entire company. 12 business executives and customers will no longer be staying in this hotel 3 nights a month as we used to. We are switching to a...
