Drinks were great (margarita and gin gimlets), atmosphere is nice, sushi was good but not great. The issue is no customer should have to remind the waiter that 1/3 of your order is missing even after you sit at the table for almost 30 minutes after the first portions are brought to your table. Meanwhile the waiter and floor managers continue to walk past your table not understanding why you have not started eating your food but not asking if everything is ok. We were patient and understand that sushi can take time to be made well, we also understand restaurants can be busy (and it was not) but the reason for this review is NO apology or acknowledgement of the mistake, just a mad scramble to bring the rest of your food as quickly as possible. And no one wants rushed food especially sushi and you could tell it was rushed when the plate arrived. To be clear this was not about waiting for additional food to be made which does take time or the fact that it’s perfectly reasonable to forget or make a mistake but the lack of acknowledgement or basic curtesy is unlike the amazing service we are used to in Mexico. Management was made aware because you could clearly see several floor managers by our waiter with the kitchen manager discussing the matter after we brought the issue to their attention. It’s a shame the opportunity to fix a simple mistake was missed...
Read moreDuring our stay in Monterrey, we had the pleasure of dining at an exceptional sushi restaurant. The food was simply incredible, with each dish crafted to perfection and bursting with flavor. Despite the high quality of the cuisine, the prices were very reasonable, offering great value for the delightful dining experience.
The building itself is a feast for the eyes, with beautiful architecture that adds to the overall dining atmosphere. It's clear that a lot of thought went into creating a space that is both elegant and inviting.

Read moreWe had high hopes for this place. First off, the atmosphere is fantastic, really cool ambiance. They took our drink orders right away, amazing. Then it was a bit rocky from there.
Took a bit too long to get menus. They only had two English menus in the whole restaurant, one was being used, that’s fine. We order appetizers. They come relatively fast. Food looks great, but tastes just about decent. Nothing really blows us away.
Then we order our main dishes. Twenty mins pass and one person gets their sushi roll. Another five mins, one more roll. Another 5 mins, another roll. It seemed like we were all going to eat separately. They didn’t apologize, at this point it seemed like they didn’t care.
They don’t deserve the 4.9 rating, I would say 4.5-4.6 just because its generally upscale and has decent sushi. 4.9 should be reserved for the genuinely outstanding restaurants that blow you away with food...
