Waow! Simply amazing . This the best food I had in Mexico , third time I travel for a total of 2 months stay over 12 towns . First it starts with a unique welcome and care by the owner Julia . I have been travelling all over the world , countless times for the last 40 + years and it is the first time the host asks me if I have any allergies or food restrictions ! Julia made sure there was no issues with the ingredients of all her dishes , truly a unique care ! Indeed , we realized a few dishes could not make it for me, I never thought it could be the case . After that, we had an amazing experience tasting amazing Oaxaca dishes , a true fine cuisine, with the perfect touch . Truly , Julia and her cooks can very well compete against Bobby Flay in the Food Network (TV). We went there for a late lunch. We loved it so much that we decided to come back the next day for new year eve dinner. Last but not least , the prices are very decent , an amazing quality /price ratio way above all we had in our stay in Yucatan over 5 towns /villages. If you are looking for a great food experience , charming , intimate environment and great care, this is it ! Trust me now, believe me later , it is truly...

This restaurant is tucked into a storefront a couple blocks away from the square, and is well worth the short walk to find it. The presentation, quality and flavors of the food were outstanding, as good or better than what we have experienced in Oaxaca city itself, and that is saying something. We shared a series of small plates, including outstanding guarnachas, truly excellent dark mole tetelas, and delicious rib tacos. It's not on the menu, but they also have bottled beer. The service was exceptional, and if you don't speak Spanish, the host speaks fluent English. We are on a two week road trip, and as much as we love Mayan food, finding this unexpected gem in Valladolid was a great way to take a break and experience a taste of Oaxaca. (We were too full to order a tlayuda, but the table next to us did, and it looked wonderful.). Just a tremendously elevated experience-...

During our journey through Yucatán, we stumbled upon this charming little gem of a restaurant, and it quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere immediately made us feel at home. The heart and soul of this place is undoubtedly the wonderful owner, whose warm hospitality and passion for her craft are evident in every detail.

The food? Absolutely phenomenal. It was, without a doubt, one of the best meals we had during our travels across the region. The dishes were crafted with such care, blending traditional flavors with a touch of creativity that made every bite unforgettable. You can feel the love and effort that goes into every plate.

If you're ever in the area, don't miss the chance to visit this delightful spot. It's more than just a meal—it's an experience you'll carry with you long after your journey ends. Highly...

I almost never write reviews, but the food in Casa Oaxaca Antojitos was so amazing, that I had to write a few words. As the cherry on top, Julia’s warm hospitality and explanations of each dish and drink makes dining there an unforgettable experience. We loved it so much, that we ate there both days of our stay in Valladolid. At the moment of writing this, the restaurant has a 5.0 rating from over 300 customers and I can only confirm it. The prices are more than reasonable. My personal favourite: try the ribs tortillas.

EDIT: We did come back again the next day because really one has to try all the items on the menu. The food is really just incredible. Their Guac is out of this world! Casa Oaxaca Antojitos truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we took our first bite, we were blown away. The flavors were vibrant and authentic, and the freshness of the ingredients was undeniable. Every single dish we ordered was a masterpiece. This is a must-try for any lover of Mexican cuisine!! Will definitely come back again.

One of the best meals we've had in Mexico! It wasn't planned but just so happened this little gem was only a few meters away from where we were staying. So happy we managed to check it out and reserve a table beforehand. It's a cozy place but small so would advise to book if you can. Julia is so welcoming and attentive, the food is so amazing. Every dish is crafted with care and full of flavor. Highly recommend you give this a visit if you're in Valladolid! You won't regret it and can thank me later!
