Hotel Al kassaba, Chefchaouen — Hotel in Chefchaouen

This is no hotel, not as much as a welcome or enjoy your stay, no one spoke English or Spanish... To top my experience off there was a MASSIVE rat in the shower... When I went to tell the manager, they were like, well, there's nothing there anymore, without acknowledging that under no circumstances should there be a freaking rat in the hotel! Needless to say I packed my bags and ran out of there... I'm not sure what the standards for hotels in Morocco are but this is by far THE WORST hotel I stayed in while in Morocco ( I stayed in 5 and they were all great!), With SO MANY good hotels and hostels in Chefchaouen, such people shouldn't be allowed to take...

so this is 2 years ago that happened to me…. I had booked for one night in this hostel. Stuff is pretty racist and rude…. I’m Japanese but I can speak English and I spoke to him by English and he just told me meow like a cat. Not only once, at least 3 times that I remember. I just told him this is not good behave. But he never apologized to me, I’m pretty sure he speak English and anyway I don’t need apologize from him. I don’t recommend this hostel if you don’t wanna...

My husband and I sat at one of the tables outside. The setting was wonderful but the food and service was just ok. We both did the menu complete (60Dh each). I had the greek salad (A LOT/ too much feta cheese) with vegetable tagine (pretty tasteless) and my husband had the Spanish omelette with meat tagine (it was all just ok). We both had the flan for dessert, it was nice. Ambiance was much better than the taste... great...
