We had a wonderful experience staying at MonRiad. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a glass of the famous Moroccan mint tea, a gesture that immediately set the tone for a relaxing stay.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with traditional Moroccan decor that made each corner feel cozy and authentic. Our room was the perfect example of this, furnished with beautiful Moroccan items that added a unique touch. It felt like we were experiencing true Moroccan culture with all the comforts of a home away from home.

Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious homemade breakfast in the peaceful patio area—a beautiful way to start the day. The hospitality was wonderful; the staff were always smiling and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed.

The location of the Riad couldn’t be more convenient, right in the heart of the Medina, making it easy to explore Marrakech on foot. Whether it was visiting the bustling souks or iconic landmarks, everything was just a short walk away.

One of our favorite parts was the rooftop, offering stunning panoramic views of the city, especially at sunset. Watching the sun go down from there was an unforgettable experience and added so much magic to our stay.

If you’re looking for an authentic and welcoming place to stay in Marrakech, I highly recommend MonRiad for its traditional aesthetic, excellent hospitality, and prime location in the heart...

This Riad is gorgeous and we got warmly welcomed with an extensive explanation of the area, but there were some little dissappointments which are worth mentioning, because I think it could be easily prevented and it would have made our stay even more pleasant.

One example is that we got woken up in the middle of the night, by the doorbell that kept ringing. Everything that is going on downstairs, is audible in the rooms.

Another example is that we booked a trip to Ouzoud and we were told that this was 25 euros pp, but when we got there, we heard that the tourguide and lunch were not included, so we had to pay for this separately and we didn't have enough cash on us. It would have been nice if they had told us beforehand, at the Riad.

We also booked a cookingclass which was very lovely. We would get the recipes by e-mail, but I didn't receive anything until I asked them a month later.

Lastly, we were driven to the airport at 7.30 in the morning an we were told that we would get breakfast beforehand. This is a very nice service, but when we got downstairs, we had to wake the desk-worker and he then started on our breakfast. This was pretty awkward.

Overall it was still a solid 4 stars, but it could have...

More Than Just a Stay – Heartfelt Service and Authentic Moroccan Charm at Its Best

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Monriad in Marrakesh. The location is perfect – central, yet quiet – and the rooms are beautifully designed, clean, and comfortable. The amenities, including the rooftop terrace and traditional decor, add so much charm. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and served with care.

What truly made our experience outstanding was the exceptional service. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for by the entire team. Every detail was taken care of, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed.

A special highlight of our stay was the cooking class with Adnane and Karima, where we learned to prepare traditional Moroccan dishes. The experience was filled with passion, warmth, and attention to detail – truly unforgettable. We also had a fantastic dinner on the rooftop terrace, which we highly recommend.

We left completely satisfied and deeply impressed by the hospitality and professionalism of the Monriad team. We would definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful riad to anyone...

I have been a guest at Mon Riad many times over the last 11 years. I’ve written reviews on here about how much I enjoy staying there. The reason I return each year is that the quality of the accommodation is of a very high standard with a great attention to detail. Over the years the staff have become friends of mine and it is a delight to be welcomed as part of their family. In a sector where staff turnover is traditionally high, it is a clear sign of a well run business that it can retain the same staff. All of them take a personal pride in what they are doing and this is reflected in the quality of the experience. We had one of their superior rooms. Room 3. It offered comfortable twin beds and a large bathroom. I have no hesitation in recommending Mon Riad.

I came here for a cooking class today and it was a really great experience. The chef, Ayesha was incredible and the guide, Ali was very informative and caring. You could feel her big heart in the way she prepared the food and lead the class and Ali was great at everything he did. It was truly all smiles and big laughs and the food was incredible. Our Traditional dish was prepared and served in the lovely roof and it was truly 10/10 experience! The hotel is beautiful on the inside and out. This area in Medina is truly a gem as well. Going through the market was seamless and the area is well kept. I highly recommend the cooking class and I would definitely come back to this riad. It was brightly lit, great staff and beautiful architecture. Thank you so much!
