While the service from the staff was kind and helpful, my stay at this hotel was unfortunately a very disappointing experience, to the point that my mom and I decided to leave a night early despite already paying for the full stay. The owners made us feel unwelcome and honestly, like criminals.
There are several serious issues that guests should be aware of. First, much of what is advertised is misleading. There is no live music, no alcohol service, no food options beyond a basic breakfast, as claimed. And the pool is not heated, which makes it impossible to use. The property operates more like an Airbnb than a hotel, with an overwhelming number of strict rules that make the environment feel restrictive and unwelcoming.
What’s worse, there were discriminatory policies in place — for example, guests with henna are not welcome, which is both offensive and unacceptable. The owners use surveillance as a primary way of communication, even housekeeping goes through your trash and reports back to them, and they will confront you directly about anything they disapprove of. I’ve traveled extensively and have never been treated with such disrespect.
Despite the potential of the space, the atmosphere created by the owners made it impossible to feel comfortable or valued. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing or respectful hospitality experience. The owners have clearly never worked with guests and they are not looking to create a customer-centric business.
Update: attaching additional communication from the owner underscoring complete lack of honesty, decorum, customer-service...

Christina personally organised every detail of our trip – from a private horse and cart pickup right outside the riad, to an incredible private tour of the breathtaking Ouzoud Waterfalls, and the most divine hammam treatment delivered by a wonderful mother-and-daughter team right on-site.
The riad itself is an absolute gem – spotlessly clean, beautifully authentic, and full of character. The attention to detail was second to none. On my birthday, Christina even arranged for petals to be placed on the bed – a thoughtful and beautiful surprise. We felt genuinely treated like royalty from start to finish. I taught I was in a Disney movie
Breakfast on the sun terrace each morning was a dream, and every bite of food was worthy of a five-star rating. The location is perfect for exploring Marrakech, but honestly, we hardly wanted to leave the peaceful sanctuary of the riad.
Christina, Pedro, and all the staff were beyond attentive – the kind of service that is truly rare. Warm, personal, and professional at every turn. I can't recommend the Perlekech Riad highly enough to anyone planning a visit to Marrakech. This was more than a holiday – it was a magical experience, and one I will treasure forever.
Thank you, Christina and Pedro, for making my birthday trip so incredibly...
Read morePerlekech Riad is brand new, but it all looks authentic. This creates an absolutely pleasant atmosphere. The owners are very friendly and are constantly at the service of the guests, helping and informing you without being intrusive. The staff continuously do their best to make the guests feel comfortable.
Breakfast is good. It is served at the table, and consists of several choices in terms of bread, cheese and cold cuts, fruit, orange juice, egg (omelet or scrambled eggs), yogurt, jam, honey, yoghurt. If you want, breakfast can be replenished. It's not a buffet, but that doesn't fit the atmosphere of this riad either.
The room we had (Nomad) was fine in size. The bathroom is spacious with a toilet and a shower. We found the mattresses to be on the hard side, but we slept fine. All the rooms have the windows facing the courtyard garden. As
In terms of location, the riad is within the walls (so in the old city), but on the outskirts. Within 5 minutes you are in the souks, and all the sights are within walking distance. The riad does sit fairly close to the road, so you only have to walk a short distance from the cab to the riad. So you don't have to go through the souks with your suitcases, which was definitely a...
