We visited Riad dar Karma on the night of the big earthquake in marrakech. We planed to stay 3 nights, but due to the earthquake we didn‘t get to enjoy it - still we wanted to leave a review because the employee Abdoul was absolutely amazing. He helped us out so much during this difficult situation, he came to find us on the streets, further on he went to bring us clothes, supplies and our car keys so that we could stay in our car away from the medina and other building that might collapse. On the next day he even brought us our luggage to the place where we parked our car. His service was from the first second on remarkable. Before the catastrophe started he showed us around in the Riad, everything looked extremely beaufiful, the rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, the riad itself is beautiful as well as the roof top. We are sad that we could not stay longer (because we did want to get home as quickly as possible) but if ever back in marrakech we will defenitely be going to...
Read moreHad a fantastic stay at Riad Dar Kasbah.
The Riad is in the heart of the Kasbah area of marrakech, conveniently located a short walk from the Saadien tombs and Moulay Al Yazid Mosque. There are a number of shops and restaurants all within close walking distance to the riad and its a nice 20 - 25 min walk from Koutoubia and the Jemaa Al fanaa.
The Riad itself is stunningly beautiful. The deluxe room decor was lovely and unable to fault any aspect of it. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom clean. The whole room had an authentic old fashion feel to it. There's also a swimming pool located in the middle of the ground floor which I regret not having a dip in.
The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. /Naoual and Abdu especially)
Would highly recommend to anyone to check it out if you're looking for a comfortable...
Read moreI am a Travel Advisor who has stayed at many of the finest luxury hotels around the world and I loved my 3 nights at Riad Dar Karma! The staff is professional and helpful; the breakfast very nice; the little hammam beautiful; the massage was amazing; and the lunch we enjoyed there was delicious. It is in a quiet area of the Kasbah neighborhood about a 20 minute walk to the main square Jemaa El-Fnaa. The rooms and common areas are beautifully decorated in the traditional Moroccan style, with a lot of the original ceilings and doors from the 18th century. Naoual was available by email before our arrival for any assistance we needed and in booking us an airport transfer, the lunch and massage appointments. I highly recommend Riad Dar Karma for an authentic experience and wonderful stay while...
