This is our first time here and the customer service experience is incredibly dissatisfactory, inferior, wretched, and everything that describes what a poor customer service is. The lady who took our order asked us if we want it dine in and take away then I said dine in. She walks back in to the kitchen but I decided to change it to takeaway but was not able to tell her yet. She immediately came back outside to confirm our order number and talked to me then once I confirmed it, she rushed back inside the kitchen while I was still trying to talk to her, calling her attention saying ‘excuse me’. I reckoned she didn’t hear me enough so I followed her and peak into their kitchen to call her attention. I didn’t get inside because I know I was not allowed to. Then she started yelling at me ‘HEY! DO NOT….’ Something like do not come in or open the kitchen curtain. This and that. And of course I genuinely apologized. She continued shouting in the kitchen using a different language to her co-workers. This irrefutably displays unprofessional demeanour. We haven’t tasted their products yet and I already know I won’t be coming back here. If only I’m not with my children, I would’ve definitely cancelled our order. She doesn’t have the right to humiliate her customers especially in front of the public/other customers (even though I did a mishap on my part). If she can’t handle how to deal with different situations in a customer service industry then she shouldn’t be a front liner. I am not happy at all with my visit here. It’s preposterous and disgusting to experience such unpleasant and crude behaviour. I understand she may be tired but it’s part of customer service to deliver her tasks with grace under pressure. I know this because I have been in a customer service industry for 10 years and this is not what I am expecting especially in first world country. It is such a shame and an abomination. I lost my appetite...

The star of the show, of course, is the chicken. Perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, each bite bursts with flavor. The signature sauces, especially the spicy garlic and tangy soy, elevate the dish to another level. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients—they're committed to serving only the best.
But it’s not just about the chicken. The sides are equally impressive! The sweet potato fries are a must-try, crispy and just the right amount of sweet. And don’t even get me started on the kimchi—it’s the perfect balance of tangy and spicy, adding a delightful twist to your meal.
The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, they go above and beyond to ensure you have a fantastic experience.

No one attending the front counter. Could hear lots of talking in the back/kitchen. Had to ring bell to get service. Only 1 customer waiting for food when we arrived but we still had a wait of over 25 minutes.
Many customers coming in had to ring the bell to get their orders taken. Observed quite a few customers leaving because of long wait time for their order to be taken.
We had to go & ask for our food after waiting 25minutes. All we could hear the entire time was loud conversations from the kitchen.
We have been to other K-chicken locations and the manukau one was the only location with bad service.
Food was average. Not as fresh because we had to go & ask for it since they forgot or were too busy talking to each other to bring the food out.
Will not be coming...
