Akaroa Waterfront Motels — Hotel in Banks Peninsula Community

Such a nice place! Located on the beach and just one road back from Akaroa's main street, this motel is ideal. The beach outside the hotel is stony, but just a couple of hundred yards to the left is a sandy beach which you can easily walk to. Our large, clean and well-appointed upstairs room had plenty of space, a double bed and a second bedroom with two single beds. There was a flat screen TV, good WI-FI, a coffee table, settee, table for eating and working and a heater for colder days. The kitchen had everything you might need (microwave, hob, toaster, kettle, fridge) but no oven. there was also a DVD player and DVD's to rent if you wanted. Limited hanging space and even more limited drawers for clothes were the only drawbacks. Keilie on reception could not have been more helpful. We did try the spa which...

Throughly enjoyed our stay,Most of the room had been updated,fantastic view from small ground floor balcony.Kitchen fully equipped.Great having the full sky cable service (for cooler days).WiFi excellent.Request a water view downstairs apartment as you are only a few steps from the waters edge with a lovely grass frontage.Supermarket only a few minutes walk away and then a nice 10min stroll around the water edge to the main akaroa centre.Bed very comfy,just a small note of caution but not a major the shower has a bit of a step step in and out.Outside of building getting a bit tired as you approach but the inside and the million dollar view make up for it.Book directly...
