The best boat tour we have been on in NZ. 100/10. Will be coming back again! Tony and Mafi were so lovely, welcoming, funny and knowledgeable about all the wildlife we saw including 20+ Hectors dolphins, a blue penguin, many seals and even albatross too!! The dolphin policy not to chase the dolphins was incredible as that meant they felt safe to play in the bow of the boat and followed us for at least 15 minutes solidly which was truly magical. We have been on tours that don’t operate with this policy and no tour has had the involvement of the dolphins that this one did - the best experience we have had in the whole country. The boat is kept in beautiful condition with gorgeous comfy seats and clean carpet, we were allowed to move around the boat - top deck, each side, bow, back - you name it! Tony and Mafi couldn’t have been better hosts. It was also such a small group so it didn’t feel crowded one little bit with loads of space between us all! Thank you so much and see you again! EXCELLENT! The weather was perfect and our guide and boatmaster knew all the things about the region and have tons of interesting factoids. It really felt like it was a tour to show off this great area more than a money making venture. I love the boat it was small and personal and everyone interacted with each other. The dolphins also really like his vessel vs the larger boats on tour. And they willingly come to the vessel and chase the boat and interact with us. I'm also very impressed with his ethics of not stressing the animals out by chasing after them. I can really feel his passion and love for his country and local fauna and flora. I highly recommend his tour and I do truly hope that it doesn't get more touristy than it gets because the experience would be ruined. It was a lovely setting and amazing time spent. His seal/ dolphin/ penguin spotting dog made it...

Had a great time. Hands down one of the best tours I have had. It is very nice when you get a tour from a guy who grew up there and knows a lot about the history, geology, the animals and has tons of personal stories about the area. Also they have the cleanest and the most well maintained boat I have seen. Saw lots of birds including penguins, seals, and of course dolphins. Great time all around great people, small crowd.
