Marchmont Gardens — Hotel in South Island

Very beautiful garden, if you love seeing flowers, this is a nice place for you to stay. The garden has a fish pond and we saw a budgie in the cage. There are two rooms. We stayed in the Mt Isobel room, which has a better view than the other room in my opinion. The room is clean and tidy, and has a bathroom. There is no breakfast but eating out is as easy. Great hosts with wonderful rooms. 2 ajoined units are separate to the main house with excellent parking. Ideally situated for a pleasant stroll in to town.
