Asturias — Hotel in Arequipa

was at the end my trip in peru and decided to spend my last week in Arequipa instead of more off the beaten path travel! it was a great decision to get to know Arequipa in a less touristy way! had a great room in the hotel Asturias! in the back, quiet but still plenty of light and a view of the mountains! great hot shower! the wifi was a mixed bag! sometimes strong, sometimes weak! but that was a problem in all of peru! so not a great surprise! great TV to watch the copa america! as for the breakfast it was quite good but after a week of the same could have used a bit more variety! for the hotel staff everyone was great and very helpful! the only negative I could say about the hotel is although it's very clean the hotel could use a fresh coat of paint and the rugs were starting show some signs of age! but definitely I would stay in this hotel again! the location was awesome in a really central location in a safe part of town with great bars,...

Excellent service, quiet and very well located.|The Hotel Asturias in Arequipa, Peru, is located in 211 Ugarte St.|Its location is fantastic because at night, Ugarte St. is quiet. This is important when you come back from visiting all the touristic places that this marvelous city has. I also want to highlight that it is in downtown and really close to major touristic attractions, marvelous restaurants and pubs. Vicinissimo al Monastero di Santa Catalina (sito UNESCO e principale attrazione della città, assieme alla mummia Juanita) e a due passi dalla splendida Plaza de Armas, l'hotel Asturias Silver (la struttura è composta da 2 sedi, Silver e Gold, sulla medesima strada) è un albergo semplice e confortevole in grado di fornire un discreto servizio al viaggiatore.||||Le stanze sono molto diverse le une dalle altre. Alcune sono molto ampie, altre decisamente più compatte, probabilmente per adattarle alla struttura dell'edificio; tuttavia le camere lato strada sono decisamente rumorose, in quanto la via su cui si affacciano è piuttosto frequentata da taxi, motorini, macchine e furgoni per il rifornimento dei numerosi ristoranti in zona.||||Gli ambienti comuni andrebbero migliorati. Non esiste una vera e propria hall, sostituita da alcune poltroncine collocate di fronte al desk della reception e l'area colazione è piuttosto piccola, così come i tavolini dedicati. La colazione stessa è modesta e può capitare di dove ricordare al personale che si sono dimenticati di portare alcune cose. In compenso, il servizio in camera viene fornito gratuitamente a chi lo richiede. ||||Il personale è estremamente disponibile e non esita a fornire qualsiasi tipo di informazioni in modo da fornire al cliente tutto il supporto necessario a godere al meglio della città.
