Casa Durand? More like CASA HEALTH HAZARD!!!!!!! ❌❌❌

I found bedbugs 10 mins after I checked in. There were dozens on bedsheets and cracks of walls everywhere. When you see bedbugs, you have to hot laundry your clothes in contact and dry them up in sun beam for 12 hours, so I had to ruin all my next day schedule doing my laundries.

The host came immediately after I texted her, but when I asked for damage compensation, the woman host insulted me by saying that I brought those bedbugs, BLAMING me? Seriously? I planted 10 bedbugs in 10 minutes even at your wall cracks??!! I WAS CLEAN THE WHOLE TOUR! DONT YOU DARE LIE TO ME SENORITA

When I logicaly pointed that out, she shut her mouth and we left the disgusting place. I asked for laundry fees for the damage but she gave me half of my demands. Special laundry services cost more but she did not agree.

To sum up, the host's attitude when facing troubles and the cleaning process is very dissapointing and even insulting to customers. I hope they dispose mattresses with bedbugs, but will they? It costs DINEROS and the host is very cheap!

I highly recommend this hotel. The room is spacious with a large very comfortable bed. There’s a large smart tv and plenty of space for storage and a heater in the room if needed. . The ensuite shower room is a good size and the shower has hot water on demand with high water pressure. This is the best shower I’ve had so far in Peru. Everything is spotlessly clean.||The location is perfect, right next to the San Blas neighborhood and a 10 minute leisurely walk to Plaza De Amas.|Even though it’s very central it’s also quiet.|There’s a nice breakfast made to order each morning.|The hospitality it’s first rate. Mirabel the owner is very friendly and helpful and speaks excellent English. The other staff are also very friendly and there is room cleaning if needed.|For the price I paid it is...
