This hotel is in an interesting area that has a lot of different restaurants and artisans shops . The room they gave us initially was a basement with a view of a wall . We reserved it over 6 months ago via our private guide and we were shocked by what they gave us . The people behind the front desk couldn’t care less in general . Luckily Johan who is one of the support staff helped us out and we got a room with a view . Thank you Johan . You should be the manager of this hotel 😊. If it wasn’t for Johan we would have left this place immediately. They should also provide earplugs at least . All night dog barking is not conducive to good sleep . We had to go to the pharmacy down the block to get some . The 3 stars instead of 1 go to the support staff , cleaners and doormen and bellboys. This company should retrain or replace the front desk people .

We had a great stay at Casa Andina San Blas. The breakfast is nice and is out early for people going on tours or waking up early to see the city before it gets busy. We really liked the seating area outside our room with a nice view of the city. The rooms were very nice with a super comfortable bed. I am 6'4" and the shower was too short for me but that was possibly a constraint of working with an old building. The shower was hot and I just sat down to wash my hair. We found the room to be a little stuffy at times and a fan or some kind of air circulation would have been nice, especially in the bathroom. Beautiful building, great location, friendly/compassionate staff and a very secure feel. Really nice place.

We stayed at Casa Andina san blas for almost a week and everything was so perfect. The room was always very clean. Very safe place to stay. Good location, just a few minuets walk from the town square but a little bit up narrow hill. Staffs were super helpful and friendly from front desk, butler, kitchen and all staffs in the hotel were super nice and delicate service. The rooms were cozy, large, good facility with heater and hot shower. Tasty breakfast starting from 5 am so it is very convenience for a very early tour around cusco. We left to Machupichu for a night and left the luggage here, came back with the luggage awaited us in our very own room. So five star for everything here!

The hotel is nice and the room I received was beautiful. The front desk and porters were attentive and helpful. The restaurant and breakfast was a deal breaker. I arrived at 8 PM and went to the in house restaurant and was seated. There was one patron already in the restaurant and one waiter. The waiter spent his time chatting with the female patron and took over ten minutes to attend to me. I ordered a burger and he had to check to see if they had one which they did not . How is it possible you cannot have a burger? I ordered the club sandwhich and a glass of milk....the waiter told me they did not have milk without even checking. I needed the milk to settle my stomach and could not eat the sandwhich. I went to the front desk to request if they could send someone out for milk which I would gladly pay for their trouble. They looked at me strangely and said they would do so but it would be simpler if they got it from the kitchen. I told them the waiter told me there was no milk...they said that is not right...please go to your room and we will deliver it. Two minutes latter the very waiter who said there was no milk delivered it. The next morning when i went to breakfast the offering was poor at best. You could hear staff in the kitchen but no one while I was there ever came out to check on the few patrons or replenish the food items. The food items were few and of poor qualty. I sampled the scrambled eggs and they were luke warm and of runny with a slight green cast. This in contrast to the Casa Andina Premium where I had spent my first few nights. Their breakfast and food items were over the top. There were numerous breads, sweets, juices, flavored waters, fruits, yogurts, cereals, cereals, hot items and eggs cooked to order. I realize that the "Premium" is a more expensive hotel but the breakfast and staff were at the "San Blas" and dining was lower than half a star. I would never recommend the "San Blas" if the restaurant was of...

I fell ill during my stay here and all I wanted was a bowl of chicken soup delivered to my room. I figured this would be simple given that they leave a menu in the hotel room for their on site restaurant SAMA. Called the operator who said there is no room service. No problem, my wife walked down the hall to the restaurant to order the soup to bring back to the room. They said they would deliver it to the room. 1 hour later, still no soup and my wife went back to SAMA and was informed that they forgot the order. 2nd order placed, they promised delivery in 15 minutes. 30 minutes later I called the operator again to speak with the manager, who was unable to be reached. The operator was nice enough to go to the restaurant himself to see what was going on, but after another 30 minutes I was giving up on this hotel being able to meet my needs and got dressed the hotel to go to another restaurant and pray that I did not become more ill on the way. I was leaving my room when they finally arrived with the bowl of quinoa chicken soup, which had no quinoa in it at all. I asked to speak with the manager to file a complaint and was told that he was not able to be contacted, which is why I am taking the time to write this review.

The amount of effort required by my wife and myself to get a bowl a soup speaks to the lack of coordination and hospitality at this hotel, and the fact that there are menus in every room for their onsite restaurant but are unable to coordinate this is...
