We travel a lot and are usually very easygoing when it comes to accommodation — we’ve never left a bad review before. But we honestly don’t think this hotel is suitable, especially for anyone needing proper rest after long tours or dealing with altitude sickness.

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. When we first arrived, we were told we would be upgraded, but in reality, we were taken to a very loud room right next to the restaurant. After just 15 minutes, we asked to change rooms because of the noise. The room was also located next to the kitchen area, which had several kittens and litter boxes that gave off a terrible smell.

We were then moved to another room that was incredibly dirty – floors and walls clearly hadn’t been cleaned, there were loose and exposed cables, and tiles were falling off in the bathroom. The duvet was filthy and stained, and the towels provided were both dirty and rough.

There was no hot water in the sink, and the sockets were hanging out of the walls, making it impossible and unsafe to charge any devices. To make things worse, loud music was blasting from the reception area all night, making sleep nearly impossible.

We never felt able to rest, and honestly, we were so disgusted by the condition of the room that we tried to stay out of the hotel as much as possible.

The breakfast was extremely poor, and to top it off, I found a cockroach in my room. There’s also no Wi-Fi in the room, which made working or even contacting anyone...

Let's talk seriously about this place. I got here thanks to a person I met during my trip in Colombia. He gave me the Harry's number and I started talking with him via WhatsApp like 10 days or less before my trip to Cusco. Harry sent me which tour I could do and the price of the room. I Didn't have much time to do a lot of researches so I put my trip in his hands. I told him which tour I would like to do and he organised everything. I didn' pay anything in advance. When I got to Cusco I went to the Mirador and ok I agree that the picture are not new, and the place is quite older and everything. But I paid 15$ for a single room, with private bathroom. Thats the price for a bed in a dorm with shared bathroom. So you need to understand that before complain about the facility. The room was quite ok. Not cold not hot. The water was hot, but you need to keep the pressure low to let the thing warm the water. It's Cusco, it's Perù, we're not in Berlin, so just adapt yourself. Then harry organised all my trip perfectly, there were always a guide coming to get me, calling me, and he was always responsive. I had a great experience. Maybe at the beginning was a bit disappointed, but at the end I'm totally satisfied! The breakfast is poor, nothing much, but was included. When I left 1 night to MachuPicchu they cleaned my room. Price vs service is a 5 star....

The worst hostel I've ever stayed. The boss, Herry, delivered my laundry with a huge stain (14cm diameter) on my yellow jacket, not only denied his responsibility, but as well accused me for the stain. Yes, you heard it right – he charged 40 sol for the laundry, damaged my jacket, never apologized, denied his responsibility, and ACCUSED me. I argued with him over the accusation, then he pushed me and left me with harsh words: "You are now at my place, not your home!" What a jerk, is it really that hard for you (Henry) to admit the damage done??

P/S 1: End of the day, Herry took my jacket (bought during promotion, around 150sol, never return to me), my money (40sol for laundry, paid in advance), and left me with zero apologize but terrible Cusco only experience.

P/S 2: I booked this place via Airbnb (didn't specific the hostel name, operated by someone else), only came to aware of the hostel's low Google rating after the incident. Lesson learned.

P/S 3: Herry, your lie won't work on me. I ran a hostel before pandemic, I know exactly how the faulty machine may spoilt the bright...
