My sister and I had a wonderful stay at Tierra Viva Cusco San Blas, which we used as our base while traveling around Peru. Each time we returned, we requested the same twin room, which was spacious, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed. We loved the traditional atmosphere of both the rooms and the building.||We especially appreciated the hotel’s eco-friendly touches, such as glass bottles of water in the room instead of plastic and refillable shampoo and body soap dispensers in the shower. Breakfast was great as well. As vegans, we were very happy with the variety: plenty of cereal, bread, olives, plant-based milk, and much more.||The location couldn’t be better, just a minute’s walk from Plazoleta San Blas and about five minutes from Plaza de Armas. Another important highlight for us was the variety of vegan restaurants nearby.||The hotel was very quiet, and we enjoyed relaxing in the patio and cozy garden, reading on the deck chairs while taking in the beautiful view. The staff were consistently kind and helpful, and it was extremely convenient to be able to store our luggage for free while we were away on trips.||The only downside was that late check-out wasn’t possible. Because our flight left in the evening, we had to pay for an extra night (we asked for a discount, but it was refused) to keep the room until 5 PM, which was a bit disappointing. Still, the overall value is very good for what the hotel offers.||We would definitely...

I had an unforgettable experience at Tierra Viva Cusco San Blas, not only because of the charming and cozy environment, but especially thanks to the incredible staff. Just hours before my flight, I accidentally left my phone in a taxi — a moment of panic! But thanks to the hotel’s quick-thinking front desk team, especially Carmen, everything was handled with calm, professionalism, and amazing efficiency. They acted immediately, contacted the driver, coordinated everything, and within a very short time, I had my phone back in hand and made it to my flight on time. I truly don’t know what I would have done without their help. The hotel itself is beautiful — clean, peaceful, and full of warm, traditional touches that make you feel the spirit of Cusco. The rooms are cozy, the design is classic and tasteful, and the atmosphere is welcoming and tranquil. I’m deeply grateful to Carmen and the team. Their kindness, calmness under pressure, and professionalism left a lasting impression. I highly recommend Tierra Viva Cusco San Blas to anyone visiting Cusco. Not only will you have a lovely stay — you’ll also be in the care of genuinely...

This hotel is located in the heart of San Blas, surrounded by numerous boutique shops and excellent eateries. Additionally, it's just a short walk away from the Plaza de Armas. A drug store is conveniently located only a few steps away from the hotel entrance, offering same-day laundry service (drop off by 9-10 AM, pick up after 7 pm). The included breakfast every morning is good, comparable to what you would get at mid-range Hilton or Crown Plaza hotels. The rooms are bigger than expected and come with well-designed open closets, cabinets, and shelves. The bathroom is spacious, especially for a hotel in this price range. They provide reusable glass water bottles that can be refilled at the front desk. During my 4-night stay, I was always welcomed warmly by the staff every time I entered the hotel. Jimmi, the front desk staff, was particularly helpful and made me feel at home with his friendly demeanor. Overall, if you're looking for a place to stay in Cusco, I would highly recommend Tierra...

The temperature went down to 7*C last night but staff had thoughtfully set up a quiet heater to keep the chill out. On this journey we have been staying in a lot of Terra Viva hotels and they have always met or exceeded our standards. This one is especially charming because of the large room we were given. Peaked ceiling and windows onto the 2 courtyards. There are partially exposed stone walls as well. Reception is very nice. The included breakfast has always been good. We’ll be back in a few days and leaving some baggage with them is not a problem. Lots of hot water a safe, clean as well there are many restaurants in the area. And if your not driving the winding narrow roads are fun to explore.

Amazing hotel. This hotel is a gem. Walking distance to everything and in a quiet location for good sleeps. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were looked after. They spoke decent English and were very friendly with suggestions for areas to check out and arranging transportation. The rooms were great with comfortable beds and very clean and well equipped. We stayed here 2 separate times on our trip and both rooms we had were great. We did the Inca trail and the hotel was very accommodating with storing some of our luggage and making sure it was safe and secure, and waiting in our room on our arrival. Highly recommend this spot.

We arrived very early in the morning around 6am, our room was ready but unfortunately they charge 50% room rate for checking-in early (we were informed of this ahead of time). We got the room in the courtyard, it was hard to make it dark, and it was very loud. We could hear every single word that was spoken in the courtyard, which makes it hard to sleep in. The room itself was nice, comfy bed and great big en suite with hot shower. WiFi was unreliable in our room. Breakfast spread was large but there’s very few hot food options. Location was very close to San Blas square but wish it was a little closer to main square. Overall good experience.
